Unfotunately for Dunkface, we cannot respect the complicated algorithm that was used to list him as the current #1 seed, and will be forced to destroy him for not holding up the traditions of the first NBBA post of the season.

I live my life by the mantra WWSD? (What would shikago do) and the precedent has clearly been set (237104.1) although I will shamefully admit that my roster construction leaves a lot to be desired. I need to go down to the K-Mart parking lot and pick up about 34 minimum wage scrubs to get to where I need to be.

As some of you might know, I have been running for the U21 national manager. I would appreciate you guys coming to the debate thread and asking any questions or voicing any concerns you have. Thank you for your time.

Sorry Nick but Phyr has my vote as he was involved in EBW having success the last two seasons, best of luck to you.

i'm trying to figure out why Hoosier is selling everybody who makes five figures. there are some pretty decent players there, and they did after all win a championship and are ranked in the top 10 in the U.S. so why sell? my theories:
-- there is a tape that has yet to be made public of Hoosier telling his beautiful girlfriend not bring her black boyfriends to the game.
-- he wrote an email saying the racial mix of the crowds had scared away the affluent.
-- he owes money to the mob.
-- his secret success is deflating basketballs, and that won't work now.
-- since he is from Alaska, he made Sarah Palin mad.
-- those rookies are better than they look.
regardless, congratulations on movin' on up. Ozone has a term he uses to describe the newbies: "plankton". i'm not sure what he means by that.

I believe he owes money to the mob and since this is the part of the season where everyone OVER sells from their true value, he wanted to take advantage and make as much of a profit as possible to buy a whole new roster in another week or two.

For the cash homie. My roster is a little advanced in age and I don't have the resources to really jump to the top of this league. Sell them now to protect value, demote with 12 million, see you in two seasons with much better resources to compete. I have no interest in floundering for a season or two before demoting with a roster of advanced aged players. Seen too many teams fall into that trap.

Ohio St. Buckeyes for the win...again. I have sold off my entire team, in other seasons, this week and bought a whole new one like you said. I don't think that's the play this time though. I feel I am a little short to play with the big boys yet.

Plankton gets sucked up by the big whales! I might as well be plankton with fat ?$$ pockets.

$12 million + patience = a pretty good team, i'll grant you that.

i'm impressed with the speed you made the decision. and you see the point of assembling a team that not only can win at one level but is also readu to compete at the next level -- that goal adds a level of complexity to the game not everyone gets.

but prepare yourself for the day when you will do what most managers here do, assemble teams with spit and duck tape --

This notice somehow did not get published:

1/25/2015 - Eugene Register-Guard is mourning the rejection of Larry "Nit" Whitt for the United States National Team.

whoa, did i get lucky: not only was Soto hurt six minutes or so into the game, but his sub was $2800 19-year old. and despite this, TKI very nearly won the game.

my dummies couldn't exploit this guy -- i thought that was the whole point of a Patient offense --

it is becoming clear just exactly what TnT lost when Stankovic went down late last season -- that dude is putting up phenomenal numbers at SF. he may very well be the best player in the league.
