Seriously, if in the future there is 5-10 nations with no users and a whole bucket load more with very few, I think nations may be joined up for the good of the user experience. Or at least new manages be directed to a populated nation.

However with the national competition numbers and the difficulty of taking them out of the game completely is probably what would stop it, which I also understand.

In Europe it would be easy to combine micronations because there are already 48 nations, they could bring the number down to 42 and the European tournament will still have the same exact schedule except one team gets a bye each round in the first round. In other countries they would have to change the schedule of the national tournaments. The confederation where nations probably won't be combined is Africa because its only has 8 nations in the national tournament.

Would Belgians rather be forced (just an example) to play in France, Germany or England...Or would they like to play with the EU flag????
If it was Belgians, I thought about Belenux - although the Dutch will most probably not agree.

The small arena Problem is solved in 5 minutes. Just give new teams in higher leagues bigger Arenas. Many users and me too probably suggested that back in 2009.

But hey, this is not a sprint, it's a marathon! Who cares if it takes two years to compete - it's fun either way.

Well if you started out in Austria DIV II, you would win 35% of the games against bots, and get abused in 65% of the games. If that would be so exciting for everybody we would'nt see 99% of the users instaquit.

But in General: there are/were suggestions to add more facilities to build - nothing happened. So if that would be a part many People would enjoy (I'd definitely do), Marin should go for it.

The problem is the floor. Teams that do not build early (genuinely new teams) will bankrupt. I agree with your suggestion even, there are a lot of ways to go about it. But the problem is, they do nothing.


I don't know if they go bankrupt and I don't want to do the math...

But adding like 5k seats to an Arena for DIV II beginners might not hurt the fun in the Long run. The sooner those Teams catch up, the better (especially for established teams who get bored by abusing the bot/new Teams).
