Commiserations mate.

Puffy made 2 big acquisitions just before playoffs began, which totaled about 300k in extra salary.

This ended up being the winning formula for him, certainly gave me something to consider in the future as well (good tactic if it works, expensive if it fails).

Ahh that sucks man. I feel ya, looks like puffy inch got that double promotion money too. The two late purchases more than paid itself off.

I did, went for the half a mil option.

Was leaning towards the 1 mil option, but want to keep some money in the bank.

Not sure how much it'll improve things in terms of merchandise sales, but extra income is always a plus.

According to my calculations..

It would take a bit over two and a half years to make back the money from the 4m stadium.
