by now... maybe when it drops a bit and you train just mm maybe 50 players would be worth the value

right now near 2kk for a lvl 7 is too high price for the estimated time trining diferience...

(sorry for my bad english)

I believe the answer, as stated by the BB's, is that the cost of the higher level coaches is not worth their value.

IMO lvl 6 and 7 trainers (and even some lvl 5) are the new way to extract money from big clubs. Than taxes were implemented on top divisions everyone were complaining but now managers are spending money on these trainers and they are happy to have these new toys although I didn't notice any posts about significant advantages. So IMO BB replaced unpopular taxes with this system. I mean you can't complain if you spent 2 mln for trainer. It was your choice, no one has taken these money from you.

The tax on ticket revenues is unrelated to Staff prices on the open market.

There is nothing official or unofficial about it. They are unrelated....

Do you want the +1 shield or the +2 shield? The percentage they cover could be 1 point but I want that +2 shield because it says it's supposed to be better.

As with every other game - who doesn't want the best guy on their team and would wonder what is the difference when it's not drastically notable? I am sure there is some difference in the level all the while I have considered it an interesting sugar pill (or placebo) if not.

But then you never know.... OJ was found innocent, and so was Robert Blake.....

It's the best proof that managers are keen to spend a lot of money on lvl 6 and 7 trainers because this creates positive emotions but no significant value. But who can prevent people from talking placebo if they are feeling better...

oh come on!

we arent that stupid or weak minded to even make ourselves believe that getting this higher level trainer doesnt work or aint worth the money.

i meant no offense, because 'IF" lets say a car manufacturer has a 1.6 valve car takes 5 secs to accelarate ( this are sample ) then here comes a 2.0 valve engine car that takes 3-4 secs to accelerate.

the cost of a 2.0 is already higher than a 1.6, surely even with a very small advantage is still called an advantage.

probably we wont even feel it where the difference is but there is.

im not good at this but i hope you got my point

I do not get your point. Sorry.

The question is not whether 6 is better than 5. The question is whether 6 at 850 000 dollars is better than 5 at 300 000 or 4 at 1000. In a game with a finaincial angle a player or coach's effectiveness must be measured against his cost, especially for teams without a huge budget surplus.

The answer is no for the majority of teams. Human nature compels us to defy this knowledge because we want the false comfort that having the highest number gives.

Having said that, if youhave a level 7 trainer and 2 18 year MVP potential trainees and are willing to concentrate on training them for four solid seasons, I imagine that at the end of that time you will be able to recoup your initial investment in the level 7 trainer.

Careful - you're sounding very Kozlodoev like in your retorts.

For me the level 6/7 trainer is a bit of a pipe dream. With a growing userbase I have not checked for a while if they are still dripping out one level 7 trainer a week or whether this has sped up.

All i ever see is an opening bid of $2.5mil which seems to be the norm (not sure if thats what they end up selling for or not)

The way I see it is that if the transfer market ever becomes inflationary again then the price of these coaches then starts to become more justifiable.

The primary reason I havent even bothered to look into it further is because I cannot see for a while yet inflation on the horizon. Training profits seem to be falling and its now revenue profits which are dictating the economic success of your franchise. Training now for me is to sharpen existing players you want to keep for the long term. For more established teams the ability to buy players with better upside potential is far greater than the ability to train them a little bit faster.
