it would be too much of a hassle for them to individually review each request as they have enough complaints and issues with the servers as it is
Only something like if the same amount of money were going in opposite way in another transfer, it's ok - sort of this kind of automatic review could be implemented. The question is whether it should be allowed at all.

that wont work, just because the transfers are for the same amount of money doesn't mean the players involved are of equal value. It doesn't stop cheating, the issue would be people trading good players for bad players to help a mate out or if they had two accounts.

If that was to work it would need to take into account of the salary's of the players involved to make sure it wasn't uneven. Its to complicated to work.

There's nothing wrong with the current transfer system, if you want a certain type of player buy him off the transfer list, if you were going to trade another player for him anyway then if he was of equal value you'd get a similar price if you sold him so there is no point to involving trades.

It is just a way for two people to help each other gain an advantage over everyone else. Level playing field is what it is all about.

You can certainly pull off a trade (it's happened before), but the transfers must be made at market rates, and each transfer is evaluated as if it happened on it's own.

Of course, you risk someone else bidding, so it's not foolproof.

I can remember 2 very famous trades that were debated quite fiercely.... they were the days!!
