A player will not pop in any defence 2 weeks in a row (he can pop od one week and id the next week) <- that is 100% truth.

I am not quite sure this is 100% truth.

With 1-position training, an 18-year old, 7'4+ center might pop ID 2 weeks in a row.

However, under the conditions described in this thread, it is indeed impossible.

Friend said he had pops in OD which is even more bizarre. The thing you suggested, I don't think that is doable with lvl5 trainer, perhaps lvl7 trainer but I doubt it (perhaps with other skills way above ID but it's still far fetched).

In Season 4, I had a 7'4 18-year old pop 2 levels in 2 ID trainings, with a RB and IS training sandwiched in-between.

Having in mind I was training 2 positions with a level 8 coach, I think it's definitely doable.

So you did training ID->RB->IS->ID? or RB->IS->ID->ID?

ID->RB->IS->ID

However, I trained 2 positions with a lev 8 or lev 9 coach, so that should even out.

Perhaps with perfect trainee good trainer and 1 spot training could produce it. But you still need a good sublevel on your dude + better inside overall skills in reb and IS. I have tried ID for 1 spot and I have not seen it I had a pretty good trainee for that. There is no way you can pop it twise in a row with 2 spot training.

But after a friend of mine told me that his 6'2" and 18 year old player had 2 ups in OD in the last two weeks (also training pressure for PG/SG)

I am sure this thing written above is not doable 100%!!!

This is correct, and I addressed it in my first post to you. I was just pointing out that saying "no defense can pop in 2 consecutive weeks" is a bit of an overstatement.

Perhaps. I have not seen it pop with ID -> ID training. If I get a perfect trainee I will for sure test it.

Ok... since you don't believe me, I asked my friend about some screenshots. Here you go! I don't think that you know German but if you still don't believe me in this case, feel free to change the language.

For the future: If you haven't seen anything, that doesn't mean that it is not possible!

But I told you before that this shouldn't be the topic here... I am still very sure that there is something wrong with my training and since I have read something very similar in the Swiss forum I am even more sure about his.

Using your own logic, just because your training is not as you expected, this doesn't mean it's bugged

In the particular case of your friend, the double-OD pop indicates that the player has been very, very close to a pop in the first week of training.

In your particular case, there are no reasons to think the lack of pops was a bug:

(1) Your 18-year-old players did not get full minutes both weeks. That's loss of training. Word is that even 1 minute is a significant loss of training.

(2) 22-year-old players train for at least 2, often 3 weeks in 2-position training. Yes, age is that important.

You don' have to tell this to me. If you read my first post you can see, that I mentioned that this could all be coincidence or bad luck.

But if you take the facts: one guy with 48+ minutes hast two pops in two weeks. That means at least 1,51 levels in these two weeks, right? So you have ~0.75 level / week (at least).
My player has 47+48 minutes in the two weeks, which makes 1 minute less than the player with the two pops (I only count the minutes, which are relevant for training). The maximum amount of skills he could have get is 0.99, because otherwise he would have popped.
The skills of these two players are very similar and my player is a little bit smaller, which should also give him a slight advantage.

Now we have three possible solutions.

1) The random factor in training is very huge --> I really doubt it.
2) The influence of this one missing minute is very huge --> I doubt this as well, because that would mean that 47minuten is less than 50% of the training with 48 minutes.
3) We really have some kind of bug here? --> I don't know it, but for me it seems to be the most obvious solution.

If there really is no bug, we probably all have to think about the whole training system almost from "point zero". And not because it is affecting me at the moment, I really would prefer point no 3. Otherwise it is a lot more diffcult to plan with your trainees for the future.
