Right now, I have the lowest team salary in the league and my most winnable crossover games are all on the road, which doesn't bode well for me.

Odds are, I will be in the relegation playoffs (so long as Keith's doesn't come back and overtake me).

I'm thinking my 5 year run in the Naismith could be done this season, thinking I'll definitely be playing relegation games at best.

I wouldn't be so sure about that. I was very lucky to beat you in our first game. My prediction is that you will do much better in the second half of the season.

I agree.
And every team might be dangerous except the two top teams in each group

Hey! At least I'm not "Molson Export" (that's my dad's team, if anyone was wondering and has been following since Season 1, when he *aaaaalmost* beat Torooo in the SFs by missing a jumper at the buzzer).

he would have won if not for the small mistake of injuring my sf (who shot 0-11 from the ft line).

Just for fun, I ran my script on Molson Export. Looks like they could stand to trim the roster down a wee bit. Funny that they've apparently been CT'd twice this year. (Edit: And from looking at that top-rated match, I can make a guess at what the default training setting has been for the last n seasons.

Molson Export (24815), Steven

(Differential +80, Pythagorean record: 7.6-3.4)

Overall stats (max bbstat: 66 (10688242) vs East-West-All-Stars):

I took a look and it's hard to tell. Could it be outside shooting :)

The relegation battle is heating up, at least on the big 8 side of the table. Four teams within a game of 7th place and Waterloo is still breathing down my neck.

Goodbye to everyone in the Naismith League! Thank you all for some great games! Firefly has been in I.1 since season 6, and the 69 points by Cristophe Tassé still holds. Look for us in season 11 to be right back up here, and doing some damage!

Cheers,

Inara

Well I am definitely out of the Naismith this season. It was great playing with the best in the country and learning some things playing against you guys. Overall, I have learned alot and my team has improved because of it. You can count on me coming back up to the Naismith very soon. And i won't be such a pushover next time ;) Oh, and good luck in the finals Random Noise, hopefully you can end BC Toroo's winning streak.
Thanks,
Jordanjr
