IF salaries come down with the next wage update (and thats a big IF).... does that mean that you could theoretically train each respective potential level a bit more?

ie. Allstar maxes out at 50k.. revised salary 40k.. would I be able to train more efficiently than before?

I would say the cap would just come down if wages went down. Total guess mind u .

I do not think so. Potential caps are not based on salary(my opinion) but on skills(BB-Charles statement).

So whatever changes in salaries, should not change any potential cap. But it will be harder for us to approximate that in the way we have been.

While we can't tell exactly what is going to happen with salaries next season, there is no way to give you a reasonable answer at this time. Not that I can at leaste.

It sounds logical that it is the sum of certain skills that makes one reach the soft cap...

Do remember that positions vary season to season if your training on that player varies - a shooting guard might turn into a small forward or vice versa for example...

Well, my whole point is that this weighted sum does not depend on position.

Another analisis could be taken into our criteria then - by seeing if such and such points and their sums have something to do with salary and capping...
