I agree, many posts involving Pini have become too large with a lot of posts, that state the same things. As it takes too long to read with no new info actually in it, it kills the intrest on the topic in hand.

People should try to keep it short and not post 20 post by themselves in an hour...

Actually 21 due to the reply to your post... :+)

Nice of you to add a smiley but it's not funny. You are damaging other users experience with your behavior...

Staff and players are two completely different things. In real life players don't get paid to play for their national teams barring bonuses, but why massager, coach and doctor do?

The coach/trainer coaches/trains the players.
The doctor has one group of clients... the players.
etc.

As long as the players are out of the payroll, their assistance staff should be out just as much.

If you can't see how staff distinguishes itself from players, then I don't know what to say...You can see plenty of evidence in real life. Players have huge salaries, so they can survive without some paychecks (during lockout, Kirilenko turned down the salary in CSKA and Tony Parker took a much lower paycheck in Asvel) while staff cannot.

If it helps you, try to imagine players as millionaires and staff as regular, blue-collar workers.

imho the situation here is quite normal for basketball in europe, the player usually have contract for the saison who expand for the Playoff where there usually earn more with bonuses.

The staff have a year contract since PR work is done during the offseason too, and trainer prepare and plan the upcoming season. And for the doctors, they are usually busy in the offseason, since many pro wait till off season till there get there threatment and work with painkillers during the season.
