scratch that, he's spent 800k on two more players overnight and Sharpling will take his salaries well over 600k.

Ok, he might be persuaded to look elsewhere. I'll put in another bid, see what he does.

You might want to consider buying him back in if he bid wars as I doubt that club can be relied upon to look after his game shape and the NT needs Sharpling.

Not even a hint of a bid war :(

I guess I'm glad you got him anyway, though it will probaly come back to haunt me later.

I'm impressed, at 31 years old Victor is still in the gym practicing his 3's!

it is even more impressive, because he did this in his free time. the team focused on free throws this week...

Been an odd season so far, with not much happening on the blue side. Moomins have looked solid, and that's been good enough for 7-0. Everyone else seems to be rebuilding or not doing as well as I'd expect and I'm somewhat surprised to find my team in second place with four wins.

On the red side, the Weasels have looked strong but other teams less so and I'm interested to see how Superhands do without Sharpling.

I think the blue side will have more wins in the inter-divisional games, but it will just be a few more rather than the usual margin.
Bring it on reds!

Shall we keep a tally?
Week 1
BLUES 3 -- REDS 5 ( it could have been 6 if my "spare wheel" hadn't had a puncture at the start of the second half! ;)

I'm just trying to tread water until I can afford the players I need. Got a lucky win today but I'd be surprised if I got another for a couple of weeks.

On the plus side being champion seems to make all other attendance variables fade into nothing. I can play as badly as I want and still pull in 580k every home game!

My team's in a pretty good place to be honest. With the changes I made at the beginning of the season, I certainly didn't expect to be in such a healthy position league-wise and my finances now are looking better than they have for some time.

I still have some issues to sort out with my ageing back-ups, but for the time being i'm quite happy with how things are looking.
