I still don’t really get this. Last season, I win 17 games and make it to the Finals. That gets me 4 balls for last season. So far this season I’ve won my first 2 games, both by pretty good margins (even though I was TIE in both). I still only 4 balls for this season, but maybe the fans thought my players were just going through the motions since they were TIE, and I rested my starters a good deal. (I’m definitely one of the top 2 teams in my league this season, so I’ll get to do a lot of TIE and my scrubs will get plenty of playing time.) I haven’t had any TV games yet, and I haven’t yet played my rival. So are the fans happy with the direction of the team? Well let’s see, I’m dominant in my league, my players are getting better and better, though I haven’t picked up any players other than from the draft (1/2 ball), I haven’t traded or waived anybody in the last few months (5 balls). It seems I’m a team on the up and up with a great future ahead, a roster full of youth, certainly ready to promote to Division 3 next season, a situation with great optimism.

So are the fans happy with the team’s direction? 3 balls. That’s it.

I’m having a 4 ball season, coming off a 4 ball season. Is the fact that I haven’t been on TV yet counting against me? Do I need to play my rival to look like I’m “going in the right direction”? I’m thinking my home attendance should be excellent with my current situation, but it’s way down compared to most of last season with ticket prices just about the same. Is there something I missing?

Don't ask what sort of Chunks they are, you probably don't want to know. Blowing Chunks since Season 4!

Only concerning the point about this season's performance:

Also with a view to real life, any judgement on a season after 2 out of 21 matches would probably be accompanied with the words "so far" and a certain emotional/mental reservation.

Probably top values cannot be achieved before the season has seen a few more matches and allows a more solid judgement. Just guessing.

I hear you about this season. I even acknowledged that in the post. But what about the team's direction?

Here's a real life situation. The Chicago Bulls are constantly improving, they finally make the playoffs, then the next year the win a playoff round. This happened 2 seasons ago. Take a poll of Bulls fans and before last season started, they would agree that, even if it wasn't yet the year that they'd be good enough to win the NBA championship, they were going in the right direction. Now imagine that 2 games into last season they would have been 2-0 instead of 0-2, I'm sure they would be just as convinced they were going in the right direction. They would been more sure of that than that the season was going well, since it was only 2 games in, but even then, what could the fans want more to think the season was going well?

Home in the Cup, TIE, won by 47, half a ball!
My fans are tough to lease.

Once I scored a basket that still makes me laugh.

After this first week, some points about my fan survey [;)]

I won my 3 games since the beggining (2 league and 1 cup, the B3's don't count for fan survey, but I won it too [:p]).
Last year I won division I and National Tournament.

My fans are for each questions:
1) happy of last season: 5bb (no change)
2) happy of how the team plays this season: 3.5bb (loose one ball after my victory in cup yesterday, maybe bugged?)
3) made a good run in National Tournament: 2.5bb (from N/A quite normal as it's the beginning)
4) played well on last game: 5bb (no change)
5) played well on TV game: N/A
6) played well against my rival: N/A
7) Knows the star players: 3bb (from 3.5)
8) General Manager made everything he can to improve the team: 5bb (no change)
9) Fans are happy of the way I manage the club: 4bb (from 5bb, 1 loss after yesterday win in National Tournament)

I think it's a bit annoying if I win everything without solding my star players, playing well, and have a bad fan mood, no?

The "last game" question on the fan survey applies only to league games. We have clarified the language on the page, though it may take a few hours for that change to find its way into all of the translations.

It is also important to remember that this page is a survey, based on a small sample of fans. It is possible for the results of questions, like "I am pleased with the team's performance last season", to change survey-to-survey, even when the events underlying the question have not changed. However, if different groups of fans consistently giving you different ratings (e.g. varying between 2.5 and 3 stars), it is probably a good indication that your fan base as a whole feels somewhere in between.

Maybe playing TIE reduces fan happiness. I don't know if you did or not, but maybe that's what it is. That's all I can figure with my recent fan survey.
