...you try to find the funniest names of players..my favourite is Bill "Willie" Wankya (6342455)
...you ask the missus to pick you up from the train station after work as you dont want to miss the start of play.
...you log into BB from your phone even though it is impossible to read.
...you check every five minutes to see if that player your selling has had the big bid yet.
...You put sales posters up around the office to let everyone know of the great player your selling.
...You update your facebook profile to tell your friends how you did in the last game.
...You get emotionally attached to players and get into fights defending their honour at the bar.
...You always tell your mates that time your gun player scored 52 of your teams 72 points. (10278863)
...All your players have nicknames. ie the guy from India is the Cowboy.
...You tell the missus your looking at porn on the internet to hide the fact your spending all the time on BB. Its just easier that way for her to understand.
...you try to think of witty lines like last nights All Star match. In conclusion, we saw the Great 8 Dominate, and left the Big 8 to masturbate.

... if you get upset by the selection of players for the ASG
... if you get disappointed that your player did not win the three point shot competition in the AS weekend
... if your team picking is based on your chances to get as manay players as possible for the ASG

...your 5 year old daughter's teacher marvels at her math skills and you know it is because you have been making her do statistical analysis of your opponents' FG%'s vs. various defensive tactics.

...if you consider making a youtube video of best plays of the last season.

...if you get asked on a date by that girl who easily could be confused for jessica Alba and you go to extraordinary lengths to make sure it doesn´t coincide with a live game.

....if you bring your laptop to that same date just so you can make sure you don´t miss out on some little statement by the BBs in the forum. (gotta stay competitive, right?)

...if you sleep only in two hours intervals for the same reasons as above.

....if you have your BB-logo hanging on the wall next to your Jordan poster.

....if you have searched for Sum Guy and get annoyed cause you couldn´t find him.

....if you confidently claim to your friends that there actually are a lot of people in the world across many countries with names that start with La- and Gm-
(actually, it would tell something else but i couldn´t resist putting that one in for some reason)

.....if you completely miss out on the flying saucer in your backyard cause you´r engrossed in a furious bidding war for that perfect SF.

The sinking suspicion that one of your favorite players has skill capped out puts you into a mourning period.

...and even though selling that player for another trainee is best for your team, a sentimental attachment keeps you from doing so.

...You're on the phone with your girlfriend the same time you lose a game you "should have won, but the end game tactics made no sense" and she asks repeatedly what's wrong and after much deliberation you tell her you lost your BB game and now you're 7-3 and she hangs up on you.

and

...Your boss pulls you into his office and asks why you have over a thousand clicks on a site call "Buzzerbeater" and then he asks you if you value your job.

(I quit that job a week ago to go back to school full time at the ripe old age of 28.)

. . . You are training your BB team hoping that the "pops" transfers magically into your favorite NBA team. (I am training OD, but Derrick Rose has only popped once!)

. . . You look at the stats of your favorite NBA team and realize that your players are playing on the same level. (I swear Bryan Baggett is Tyrus Thomas--brilliant one day and a moron the next).

Just say no to bitchassedness!

Especially when it almost costs you to trade a Wondrous OD guy for a Prominent with the hope you can probably only take him 2 skills higher and it will take you 2 seasons to do so......
