My point is: given identical skill sum a balanced player is worse than an unbalanced one.

Plus it's much more difficult (inefficient) in training the balanced player.

As long as these two points are true BB will see very few "well-rounded" players.

in myx eyes i would go for the balanced defense, also for the NT(most of the german SF play so, JosefKA pointed out why), but we put more effort in training defence.

On SF position the balanced player work good(maybe i would focus on a offense, but not on defence because you don't know how the opponent play). I would better takes SG or PF as example, where to train "the opposite" training is less valuable, because of the trtaining speed and the worth on the position he had to play and the progress for the game the player made.

you don't care about them being cheaper in salary either?

As long as someone else does the off-position training and I dont have to overpay for it. So far so good.

Then you'll have to hope he isnt from China unless there is something done about the cheat(s) that will sadly block your attempts to purchase the aforementioned player(s)

I think i've been in position better than a lot to experiment with out of position training. My observations are its tough (rewarding? who knows)

TL wise I think my players have attracted slightly more on average becuase of the prominance of my team NOT the skillsets of the players themselves.

OD 12 ID 6 I would also take every day over OD 10 ID 8.

If we are all wrong and inefficient then the TL will of course not reflect Charles perceived extra value as we simply dont have enough data to go by and will always seek comfort in the skillsets of those we have learnt to believe and trust.

If the training was opened up (maybe temporarily for 2-3 seasons) we could then really test whether the extra ballache is worthwhile. Until then its better the devil you know than the devil you dont.

let the BBs change the training..throw the Handling training on the garbage and put "Bench Press" for all postions in..it trains OD,ID,BL and DR for example

my 2 cents

and out

Bench press? (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bench_press)

The current OD regime already trains OD, ID, and DR, doesn't it? Also, I don't know whether most people realize this, but playing with height can make quite a difference in OD training. So a putting relatively tall player in the OD training slot can result in an interesting, balanced defense training.

Adding a TV contract linked to the quality of the league is essential for the financial situation

A team of my league (77854), seems to be trying to go to bankruptcy by buying more than 300 hundred players.
Is this going to affect to the offseason calculation of the TV contracts??? I mean, the average quality of the players in the spanish first division will be decreased.

I hope the formula is limited to a few players per team.
