I am just guessing, but don't the draft scouts go in order of what your random set of picks are(example numbers one through ten for the first ten picks)? If so, then why not have the draft order at the beginning of the season? That way, we can choose who the scouts got to and scout given that the ones above have already been scouted twice.

I just noticed that there can be a huge difference in the draftees quality among different leagues.
League II.4 Italy: 1 superstar and no other player with higher potential.
Serie A: 3 superstar, 1 MVP and 5 hall of famer (4 of which 18yo).

Yeap, definitely too much random...

I like the format of the current draft. But I would never advice someone to invest $40k/week and it is also obvious that BB don't want to make such option preferable considering the value of the players in the draft. Sure it is unfair that there is random in it but without random luck this game would be much more boring. Still the money gained by a good draft is possible to pretty much make up from managing the team well in other aspects. The draft adds a dimension to the game and I very much prefer to have one draft than to pull a youth player every week which will be no less random. And I don't think that the draft needs to be adjusted and I had really poor drafts this season.

heres an idea what if we got tradeable draft picks so that we could like trade for a bad teams draft picks and stuff i think this is a great idea could a bb orgm comment here and tell me if this could be implented in the future or if you think its a stupid idea

Direct trading will not be implemented in BB.

i would like to see a change to the draft also.

i have an idea which has been rolling around in my brain for a while.

i think if we made the draft real time, as in we draft the players ourselves, and make a lottery system for the 4 relegated teams that would improve it a lot.

i also think they should add a fourth staff member. the scout, maybe not 7 levels like we have now but a few levels atleast.
a level 1 scout would say travel greyhound ( public bus) and a level 4 would travel by air and go the the" major" colleges.

to put some managers effort into the draft, make it to where your scout, will give you info but it's available for a limited time only and near the end of the season a quick recap of what he did, but without the full info, this would give managers who put a lot of time into their teams an advantage but that should be a part of the game.

so those are my ideas, some may be good some not, but this is the suggestion forum.

i think a better draft would bring more people into the game, and add a new element to those who have been here since season 1.

i know it would be difficult to change the draft system to make it as fair as you can but i also think the current draft is pretty boring.

I tottally agree about the fourth member of the staff. A player that spent $10.000 on weekly search will now hire a level 3 ($10.000 salary) scout...

I am still in favor of removing the third round of the draft. Less players would allow better scouting, raise the value of average rookies and due to this counter inflation.

Not going to happen. The idea is not to have to sit in front of the computer screen for hours in a row at a specific time.

What about the Scout? The fourth member of the staff...
