still a big different skill wise, so his passing is not just good it is 2 classes above the average which isn't ashaming for your league in my eyes just shows a bit the weird training of this player or the extra class he had(don't know his exact skill contribution) ;)

Well then why did he take so many bad shots? Its not me who's being tough on anyone's PGs. Its the game engine - thats what I was trying to point out. Even with sensational JR JS his PG is shooting 40%. That's just not right.

I know you and others on these forums defend this game because you like it. But I like it too, I'm just pointing out an aspect which doesn't seem fair if you compare it to real life basketball.

boss- Wouldn't the playing 48 minutes apply to big men as well? A lot of big men who play 48 mins dont seem to be so affected. Therefore stamina wouldn't explain the poor season stats of PGs in this game throughout all leagues.

This one is just a random example. Its evident that most PGs in this game average way less than 7 APG and 40% shooting. Decent big men average >15 RPG and >55% shooting. Although they don't seem to score as many points. Anyway thats another matter.

This particular example shows that even guards who play against weak defences can't seem to hit shots on a regular basis. I've seen multiple examples of this. The reason is probably that the outside defence in this game is too heavily weighted. Probably.

But I feel now like I'm arguing with creationists about the existence of god. So I'll just stop.

Isn't it more the way TIE is used to create artificialLy high levels of enthuism (and thus OD) Be interesting to check the first three games of each season vs the others.

You think its right that enthusiasm only picks up ODs and not other attributes? I'm not even sure that's how it is, it probably raises all aspects of your players' game. Even if enthusiasm plays a role in favoring defence over offence its more managers in the top leagues who use it all the time. I don't think lower league managers who are still figuring out the game are that widely aware of the benefit of using TIE all the time.

using TIE all the time.

Not all the time, just in certain games.
And i think enthusiasm picks up the defence a lot but the other attributes too but not that much.

Personally I'd trust the team ratings on this.

exceptionally ;) and yes i forgot the rebounding but are you sure that the other attributes are not affected at all?
