Our opening tonight shows club red taking charge of the crossover play.

Announcer: this season club red is poised to pull off their win in inter conference competition since the clogs era. One last chance to see how the sides matchup and one more shot for the blues to pull off another collective victory. But the main thing is it's one more chance to work out the kinks with the stretch dive looming.


Mavs look to keep pace on having HCA for the first round of the playoffs while Petersburg tries to stay in touch for the final spot in the blues

The chefs look to move a step closer to clinching while Deronimo could use a signature with to solidify their postseason asperation.

The bunnies seek to battle for the top spot in the blues while kitties can kinda chill

The dogs also look to stay close while blasters are looking like the team no one want come across come the postseason.

Stormz has a soft trip to face stones

In another potential prelude to a RL Masters travels to the coliseum to take on the struggling generals



In a battle of the cellar to he barricade battles jumpers

And 2 takes a free lap with a visit to the automated nation.

Announcer: it's a special Christmas week celebration this season in the slaughterhouse. But as to whom will find gifts under the tree or find coal in their stocking remains to be seen.

Over at the coliseum another chapter will be added to the leagues longest running rivalry as Deronimo seeks to solidify their standing while the generals are looking to shake up the whole situation

The dogs and bunnies square off in a game where the winner will find themselves on the inside track to hosting a first round playoff game.

Top standing stormz tangle with a Petersburg club still trying to find their mark but whom also stay very dangerous.

And the jammers get the free lap against the league controlled nation.

The kitties are well situated for a spot in the post season as is the mavs, tonight they tangle to see whom is going to be left a little better set to improve their position.

Sybil will have her say, Santa will stop by to give his opinion about who has been naughty or nice and tonight we will check in with several different teams to see how various organizations in the slaughterhouse are doing to bring Goodwill towards their fellow man. Announcer: as we enter the final fortnight of action for the season the action intensifies as only five chances remain to see just where everyone is heading.

The chefs look to clinching against their nearest competitor though the mavs would like to delay the chefs coronation for a game or two.

Round 2 looks to rebound from the sting of a sweep at the hands of Masters while all the while moving the Blasters squarely into the six spot.

And the Masters have easy pickings as well against the stones

The bunnies look to solidify their 3rd place spot while the jammers are desperately trying to round up enough wins to GRT out of the cellar.

Deronimo needs every win they can muster to hang into fourth while stormz can move one step closer to clinching this side of the ledger

A critical contest at the coliseum for both the Generals and Petersburg as the Victor could find themselves back in the playoff picture while the loser could be staring at the prospect of dealing with a tough relegation battle

And the dogs will get a free lap against the nation.

Announcer: a happy and prosperous New year to you all. As the season quickly comes to it's conclusion much is already cast in stone. Yet the fates of many are still to be determined.


Over in big blue

The generals are sitting in limbo, stuck between being on the cusp of the playoff picture and out and out looking down the barrel of relegation. The jammers on the other hand have quickly stepped up their game and can potentially see finding a way to stay around when previously that looked impossible. League officials need to find out if by chance they would automatically leapfrog the dismantled nation to earn a shot at the second chance sweepstakes. Though if they keep winning like it would be a moot point.

Petersburg gets a free lap tonight against the nation.

Deronimo has a stout challenge coming at home against the bunnies, and even still will probably drop back to the relegation zone.

And at the top of the table the surging dogs will try to steal the top spot from stormz.

The stones will look to capitalize on the momentum from a win over Masters while the blasters will seek to secure the six position outright.

The mavs host two in a battle which will have home court ramifications for what will be a rematch in two weeks time.

The kitties need a road win over Masters to clinch their trip to the playoffs.

And the chefs will keep cruising along with a trip to the already packing barricade.

Announcer: as the season rapidly comes to a close the opportunity to succeed or to even stay up starts to wither away. For some this final week is a chance to fine tune for the postseason, for others it is a Clarion call that actio must be taken.

Chefs and stones square off in a matchup without any real impact on the proceedings.

The blasters get a chance to fine tune themselves against the mathematically eliminated barricade.

I can't believe Webb is gone. No fan fare just shipped off like a thief in the night. He deserves better.

Your right...he and Armstead deserved the coronation afforded McLean and Skinner. But both guys should have been future endeavored several seasons when they had some tread left on the tires. Webb in particular had become feeble, and well being 0-6 for the seasons in games decided by six or less can lead to some irrational acts. Taylor and Strong are OK as filler but both present some liability, alas though it appears their market value is nominal, or at least far under projections.

The problem is this, even with the upgrades to personal staying afloat is a dicey proposition. Not that it did much good this evening. Then again we are locked in and might as well buckle up for the challenge the blasters represent. In many ways it's not been a terrible season, nice cup run, first win over a NBBA team, getting the Japan u21 gig, all feathers in the cap. In the league however it has been a struggle. If relegation does occur it will mean a complete rebuild is going to be in order, but we like this neighborhood so if we go it will be kicking and screaming.
