With only 6 regular season games to go. The Great 8 seems to have taken their playoff positions except for the 4th seed who will get a chance to face Saul Jung (Good Luck). Now that Big 8 is a log jam for real. 4 deserving teams to make the playoffs but only 3 positions. Anyone missing the playoffs will have a better record than the Big 8 but anything can happen!

Tonight's opening montage focuses on the men in the striped shirts doing their thing in response to some proverbial hard shots. And of the various emotional responses those engender.

Announcer: as the season quickly draws to a close the final chapters are ready to be written. For many we already know how the story is going to end, for some there is still time to change the conclusion.

Stormz seeks to get another step closer to clinching hca throughout the postseason while the brewskies keep battling valiantly to get out of the cellar.

Deronimo visits Cal in a contest that could threaten to jumble the current pecking order.

Petersburg travels to Hawks to try and tighten their grip on the last playoff position.

And the bunnies battle the generals in their efforts to obtain a first round home playoff date.

The Mavs hit the road looking to clingh HCA for the first round of the playoffs. While Masters needs to hold home serve to stave off going into relegation.

While fierce looks to officially lay claim to their spot in the postseason while the hackers continue to try and hold on to their present position.

Petersburg looks to continue their surge and to directly get past the dogs.


The brewskies make their way to the valley to deal with Deronimo.

The General's will see stormz drop by for a visit as their guest will have their sights set on clinching a regular season title.

And the bunnies will look to hop over the Hawks to get themselves on step closer to clinching home court for the first round.

New editions of Alfred's Angle and Lee's Way on the way. Sybil gets her say. Of course the mad dash at seasons end means lots of action on the transfer ticker to go over as well. So settle in in, another great night of action is about to begin as it's time again for BB2NIGHT!

Tonight's opening montage is of coaches in full counsel. Of instructions being given, of viewpoints from their assistants being presented.

Announcer: we enter into the final four games with some seeding situations to still be determined. Of teams trying to get where they need to be to meet their goals as the second season looms on the horizon.

Over in big blue...

At the coliseum it's another chapter in the longest running rivalry in the slaughterhouse as Deronimo takes on the general's for the 30th time in regular season action and 42nd time overall. For Deronimo the sights are still set for the postseason while the general's are resigned to once again finishing in the second division. But when these two meet you can throw out the record books as it's all about pride.

Stormz looks to secure the conference title while Hawks continues to try and hang on to the final relegation golden ticket.

Cal suddenly finds themselves on the outside looking in and must hold home serve on the bunnies to stay in sight of the playoffs

And the brewskies will take another crack at getting out of the cellar against surging Petersburg.

The Mavs will try to nail down a home date for the first round of the playoffs while Tron needs some road magic to help their playoff asperations along.

Two looks to declaw the kitties to move another step closer to clinching the top spot.


Masters gets the free lap against iguanas which could provide the final impetus for claiming the last playoff position.

And the chunks and hacks will battle in a game to determine who will be slotted against the general's in two weeks time.

as the season draws closer to its end we enter the final week with a few final questions left to decide.

Over in the big 8 is this the night the brewskies finally make it out of the cellars or will the Hawks continue to hang on.


Can the bulldogs continue their climb back up the big 8 food chain or will Greensboro continue to gain momentum heading to the postseason


will the bunnies make the big hop to nailing down a home-court contest for the opening round of the playoffs or will deronimo deal themselves back into the playoff hand


and can the storms secure home court throughout or will Petersburg continue their pop up the ranks

What sort of effort will the neutrons put forth with botification looming and can the chunks take advantage of the situation

Are the Mavs prepared to handle the hackers


Will the kitties find motivation against Masters


and is round 2 finally ready to put the big nail in their efforts to be top regular-season dog

With 2 regular season games to go, playoff picture in Red is set- only question will be who is the first round fodder for Rd2 - Master or Neutrons? Those two teams close out the regular season with a nationally televised match, winner gets to be crushed by Rd2 - in the first game of a likely clean sweep of the conference playoffs for the Red Leader.

In Blue, Cal closes out with an easy schedule that realistically may allow them to leap up to the #2 slot.
Petersburg closes with probably the toughest schedule (from a making the playoffs perspective) facing Bunnies and Deronimo. But Petersburg's point dif advantage should carry them into the playoffs even with a loss down the home stretch.

Stormz's home court advantage will carry them into the league finals versus Rd2.

For the finals, have to give the edge to Rd2. since they have been playing TIE for a while now, and will be able to go playoff normal for all conference matches, and still reach the league finals with ease.

Neutrons is in coasting mode, so that question answers itself, I thought they were about to bot but turns out I just can't read sometimes lol. But it does appear Masters will serve as first round fodder for round 2. The question then becomes can chunks claim the five spot? They will enter the final week as underdogs in both games, but if they can find a way to split it could well be enough to get by. The difference between the five and the six will make a huge difference for whomever is the seven out of the blues.

And last night went a LONG way towards deciding who gets that last shot at redemption. What a wild and wooly affair it was. (104583164) the greatest comeback I have ever seen on this game. Fillmore and friends were dead and buried but a hand rose out of that grave and now the brewskies have a shot to survive after spending the whole season down in the basement. If current projections hold they will .

In the end though I think it is looking like 2's season but blue who will survive the relegation battle which means another season of familiarity and contempt to build up in the toughest conference in all of d3
