I can't say the habilities of eny of my Centers but I can tell that one of my NT players, wage less than 18.000 and he is much better than your player recently sold. My player besides has a 2 on SB.

that says a lot.

You said that a strong SB means a boost in 20000-30000 in salary. My statement, along with many others here, show that to be blatantly wrong.

I won't dispute that higher shot blocking has an effect on salary. However, proficient SB probably only increases salary by about 2-3 thousand.

I already said this but the wage modified by the SB is between $10.000 and $20.000. And I cant give you another example, but you have to trust that the SB affects very bad on wages...

On the transfer list, I found a guy with respectable SB with a salary of 1700. I found a guy with strong inside shot and strong SB with a salary of 3032.

I believe that salary for skills is additive. In this case, respectable SB costs AT MOST 1700 in salary. Strong SB costs AT MOST 3032 in salary. This assumes that they haven't trained SB since the wage update, but I believe you are also making the same assumption. In any case, it is not between 10,000 and 20,000.

At around $3000, why would you want any less than strong SB? Once you get up to high levels of inside d (sensational or higher), it is actually more cost effective to improve shot blocking.

But there you are giving an example of 2 bad players. But if you do the same reasoning with the best NT players, that wage difference its going to increase a lot.

I will ask again if you can demonstrate this?

Your Centres with their secret additional super expensive SB are not that great that they are a threat to the entire international community...

helping everyone understand more about skills and their wage value is more interesting isnt it??

otherwise we just have your say so.... hardly evidence enough to re-write the rules or input in a noob guide!

no no, I don't complain about the wage of my players, at the contrary, I think that they wage of my players is very low compared to the others NT players with similar characteristics. Its obvios that I cant complain about that, but I think that is unfair to the other managers to pay $20.000more of wage just for having a good level on SB.

You asked for an example, here it is. This are the habilities of one of my NT players, he is a great player and his level on SB is a 2. And if you take a look to the wage you will get shocked. I'm not traducing the skills but i can put a number instead. And this skills are true, I'm not lying.

I said that I'm assuming that salaries are additive. In other words, the contribution for salary stays the same for strong SB, regardless of the level of other skills.

You seem to be assuming that salaries are multiplicative or non-linear.

My experience says that salaries for skills are additive or very close to it. You also have to remember that a player's listed position at the time of the salary update has a huge impact on his salary. The top skills for his position will have the greatest impact on his salary. The side skills less so.

This means that a centre will see a much smaller salary impact from a high jump range than a shooting guard, for example.

Can you explain your argument? I don't really understand what point you're trying to make.

Now I am confused too.

You say it adds to the salary too much yet he has level 2 SB????
