what about 3pA per 48 minutes? BB currently has star players playing much more often than NBA teams.

Also I don't think there is anything wrong with a broader range of tactical implementations than exist in the NBA... the NBA has a bit of a tendency to imitate itself and not much of a dynamic to try different things. I think BB is better off having a broader distribution of tactics and shooting distributions.

i would like to share,

i hope it helps, since im palying R&G tactics ever since. i kinda understands the shooting side of things,

one thing we have to have in our mindset is, no matter if you have a sensational JS or higher and a proficient or higher JR you just cant equate everything to kobe like or paul pierce or even ray allen in terms of play day in and day out in terms of shooting the lights out. i dont know those wondrous or higher would do.

if you have a player whether its a guard or forward or center to be your best attacker, if he doesnt have passing skill he will reluctantly take more shots and a lot of those surely are forced shot, one thing we cant translate or see here in our games is when do we know a player takes force shots out of he cant pass or being a ball hog.

one thing is sure you need passing skill for me at average at most so you can have quality passes that just wouldnt translate to turnover or steals when your player is double team or being checked nor would he forced his shots.

==================================================

secondly i havent really proven this but i kinda see the relationship of JS and JR.

the JS is somewhat like the range of % your shooting will be an example is 20-35% so the higher your skill level the higher your % coverage and your JR is what helps you stay on the high %. this is looking only at your player

* note: if anyone can help me prove that sensational JS and a wondrous JS with regards to % in respect to their JR tell me, because im not sure the increase would be that high coming to certain level and further

( this part i havent yet got a clear thing so it would be hard for me to prove how much and all the effect)
but this diviates depending on the defender your player plays against the better defensive skill he has the lower your % will clip in so if you have high skill level it doesnt really translate it will go in all the time but a nice % will come. also keep imn mind the quality of shots your taking, imagine everytime a player releases a shot, in my mind GE checks the environment your shooter at that time has and withit gets a certain %, so even with a open or no defense you player has a chance his shot will miss!

i do believe the GE makes the defense adjust, so if your just a shooter and no driving or even passing surely a lot of those touches are forced unless you really have a high skill level that can still give a nice %.

a example is my starting sg, there was once he average almost 50% from the 3 pt line but when i took on a better or a team that was training guards it didnt shock me that my sg had a horrendous shooting i think it was at 20-30%. wow isnt it.

so dont expect a bad night here in bb because its not just your player or the program but also how the environment reacts to your player.

environment also includes your players stamina!

==================================================

as much as we like to see we have one or 2 super dominant players, he needs a good supporting cast for me this is the key and never never underestimate the skill of passing.

Kåre Øverli and Gabriel Martinez are averaging 32 minutes and 34 minutes a game, George Mccloud had an average of 36 minutes in his record setting season.

That might be so, but that is not what this thread is about. Its intention is bringing 3ps up to an realistic level:-)
