This is the best example yet of how screwed up this offensive offensive rebounding really is. My team is far from a bad rebounding team and we're getting killed on the offensive boards! We need to keep harping on this because quite frankly, we're running out of time!

looks like i felt the same with everybody here... rebounding really still a big issues.
And I wonder how's box-out mechanism works, which will clear the smoke of those crap rebounders outrebounded the 'wondrous' rebounders.

Another suggestion : since the Personal Fouls tend to be lesser, i feel that Buzzerbeater dev team can tune it a bit higher, but reducing the Fouls near the 3pt line, because Personal Fouls is happening around the painted area at the most.

yes, but so did your opponent and you both had awful medium rebounding rating. You did slightly better on rebounding, 22/62 possible offensive boards, compared to 22/81 for them. If you look more carefully at the boxscore, I think you can see how the new engine is working and the reason you did better on rebounding is that your PF and C were better rebounders, as they received a larger percentage of the rebounds than they should have given an even matchup. All in all the difference in rebounding rate was only 6 offensive boards, and its easy to imagine that is just up to chance.

Just seems to:
(12740912)

Although I have to say that the problem here stems from the RB ratings of my team being too high considering the players who played.

All I want to say is that the rebounds are distributed as they should be, just that my RB rating is a bit too high in my opinion.

Or was the algorithm for calculating the team ratings changed?

It seems to be ok compared to last week.

But I still had some hope that with the new rebounding system some situations of RL basketball would be transported into BB.

Team rebounds, out of bounds shooting, and other stuff that has the consequence of lowering total rebounds (60?, 70? really?) since most teams in NBA average 40~45 a game.

And please, more scoring+foul. It would boost inside game a little.

Well, take a look at this: (12741029).

All right, his rebounding score was higher, he got more rebounds, fine with me... however, if we look at C-PF alone we were much closer, and he got over 18 rebounds from PG-SG... and that is more than my SF in the whole game.

Maybe he's got a great rebounding score for those players, but surely the GE let them go for the rebound: were over 20 rebounds (+ those of my PG - SG) 'long distance' ones?

Just trying to figure out how this new GE works... I'll ask it clearly: is rebounding more important for PG-SG?
