Maybe send mail to the owners of the teams those players are in and tell them how to train them appropriately.

This is already done by the NT/U21 Coach, you'd be surprised at the number of managers new or old who a) Never respond b)Think they already know the best way to train their player (Yes some older managers do know how they want to develop them best for their team however there is a large amount of new managers that have no clue ruin the player and then are gone from BB 3-4 Months down the road).

Out of the Top 10 Rookies by salary in last years draft, 3-4 are being trained well, 2 are retired, and who knows about the rest

I'd be willing to show some of my New Zealand players' skills. Pretty sure we're not a hotly-scouted country haha.

Agree with FatCurry. I'd say about 1/3 of the people I have contacted even bother to respond. Even less take advice on simple things like how to get him 48 minutes per week or why you shouldn't play him 100+ minutes a week.

Although officially Velasco's suggested position is Shooting Guard, he is nearly useless there

"VELASCO!.... VELASCO!.... He didn't really mean it! Coco was just worked up, that's all. VELASCO!... come back!... You'll always be a shooting guard to me!"

Right before the playoffs! You could have timed it a little better Coco! Thanks a lot!

I think his nickname is Shane...

Haha that is funny. But it is even funnier that this movie came to your mind and you found it on YouTube for us.

is it bad to give a player too much playing time. And if you put a bench warmer in for two whole quarter in at least 4 games are they still going to be bench warmers.

it is preferable to avoid playing a player too much, but there are no *permanent* effects of playing time.

Well, Coco's right as far as GS goes. Too much playing time (>80 min in a week) will hurt a player's game shape, but that's not permanent.

The other side of that question, though, is how playing time effects experience. It's possible that getting lots of minutes (especially in league games), is actually good for young players since it will help build up their experience.

I feel from as soon as they can start on your team without being a liability to forever you should be trying to push their minutes as high as possible. Next year with Willis I am going to be aiming for about 90 a week and keeping him about Respectable GS. Yes its not entirely efficient for his performance but if I don't have to worry about GS for the NT I want to boost his XP as much as possible. You know on your schedule what the big games are and where you will need their GS to be in prime form and you can just plan accordingly.
