Good luck everyone! May the best team win! But the good news for you guys is that if I don't win this year then I'm going to rebuild. Cheers!

No upsets this round as expected.
Delpra's game with Big Dawgs was close though.
Moving forward!

I love the playoff matchups this season. Looks like rivalry gallore.

Delpra vs. Miu is a budding rivalry spanning 3 seasons now with each team taking 3 wins and 3 losses and ALWAYS the home team winning the bout. I'm pretty sure either team could win with a CTvsNORM but can either team afford to advance to the finals with anything less than max enthusiasm with Storm/Krushers waiting for them? Decisions decisions...

Storm vs. Krushers however is a long standing rivalry since S19. With 12 previous games between them (Storm taking 7 and Krushers taking 5) over the past 5 seasons this is going to be another fan favorite game. They met in the Semi-Finals in S22 and S23 where the Krushers have gotten the short end of the stick both times. I think this one should be exciting. All I'm going to say is last season Storm caught them by surprise with a CT but I dont think that will happen again for a couple reasons; Storm won't want to CT with a tough opponent (Miu/Delpra) waiting for them in the finals and Krushers won't be caught off guard this time and if they think they can win with a CT may very well use it to prevent Storm from extending that IV.28 record of 3 straight Finals appearances to 4.

Such good matchups I am not even going to attempt to predict them as I have in the past.

Good luck to all you four.

Of course. This league was home for many seasons so I can't just leave it behind. Besides I'm watching intently hoping the promotee lands in III.16 :)

The final series of the Springfield Storm against Miu N Co. Is starting on Tuesday with a great matchup. Series starts off in Springfield home of the basketball hall of fame, and there are some players on both teams trying to get to that destination through these three games.

Lol my writing skill is not comparable to Hunterz'z

Yays I am in the finals again and, and i see the storm are trying to win it all finally after getting here three times in a row. Great games in the playoffs this year

Thanks, I think that's a compliment but I assure you I'm not that great either. I just use volume to trick you into thinking its good :) And I assume I speak for the entire league when I say we appreciate the effort. Any activity in the forums spices things up regardless of whether its spectacular or complete crap so keep writing. :)

WELCOME IV.28 SEASON 24 FINALS!

Miu @ Springfield: Interesting matchup here. Both excellent teams from top to bottom. Demis Passas (18028994) is the only player from either team to finish in the top 5 in any statistical category for the season (Passas finished tied for 4th in spg with 1.9). I think this speaks volumes to the balance, depth, and teamwork mentality of each team. Every single player that steps on the court will be looking for a win and nothing else; personal stats are meaningless to these guys and thats the kind of attitude that leads to unbelievable team chemistry and ultimately success. I know its not much of a consolation prize but whichever team ends up falling short will, I believe, make a return trip to the Finals next season. Miu will rely on young guns Wade Osborn (24734856) and Skip Couture (26037841) who average a combined 33.2ppg, 8.2 apg, and 6.7 rpg to steal an away game and give themselves the 1-0 lead heading into a home game. The Storm will look for Ian Kosta (22880252) to set the tone on both ends of the court with his 16.6ppg, 12.7rpg, and team leading 1.8 bpg; I expect the Passas/Kosta pick and roll will play a signifcant role. Despite those key players being a focus both teams use a relatively even shot distribution and double teams or lagging defense will be punished most harshly. This matchup will be both an offensive showcase and defensive struggle. Miu has won all 3 previous meetings but has also had HCA in each event. It is definitely a tough game to predict but I think it's the Storm's time to shine; after 4 straight trips to the finals I believe they will finally get a win against Miu using their hard work all season to secure HCA to tip the balance. Storm win in 3 games taking both home games.

Best of luck to both teams!
