Ill stop right there.

But BB marin should not stop right there he should read the whole post. Take his game back to it roots >> tactics,

I think you have every right to hope that the game goes in whatever direction you would like. I also know that this game's roots have always been as a training/management sim (back to BB-Charles' time in HT), not a game-day tactical sim. I don't personally see a way to do a really good pure tactical sim with thousands of users in the same competition (i.e., not a whole bunch of independent leagues without promotion/relegation) without the management side being involved.

It's absolutely possible to train at any level and if we look at any top league I can guarantee we will find teams training there. How you train though may differ a lot on different levels of play. But it is not impossible to train at any level.

That's right.

That is also consistent with what I have said, that this is a training game and not a basketball game.

Your misleading people Manon or just omitting things.. You cant train a whole team in the top level and be effective. You can only train 1 single player. Training a team in a league is about substaining merit of equal strength or equal play.

I never said hrudey is following any leader. Go look at the market and tell me why there more li/ lp player almost 5-1 than any other tactic on this game.??? If that not following the leader then what is it./Please do tell.

That shot Sb thing is not doing anything much today beyond running up fouls and injuries. Yes true it helping 3-2 become dominate. But 2-3 is based Shot blocking Manon, why is it not working. Also gdp .. don't make me laugh here. .. Theres a loop hole to go past that its it call boosting player.. this raises inflation in the market also training and keeping/selling boosted players. tax exemption is helping all this as well. Giving boosters thousand of dollars just because they trained. The better team is going to win regardless. I'm not saying it hopeless on BB. Im saying its flawed thinking they are doing.

Like I said it nothing we can do about it now ,but go with the flow or save your money till your ready to buy your team. Because you cant train every damn player for every tactic we want to play. cost to much , too time consuming

Its not my job to show anybody anything. because look none is going to listen anyway. if they did listen the market would be making them rich on other tactics. All I build is outside offensive and I have more money than them and im not using/abusing the market to do so. Management is thinking about tomarrow which mean saving/ learning tactics/ correct arena builds early also buying who you need when needed..

Not train every damn player you need and look for exemption to save our asses!!. That a false and foolish way of thinking also impossible in some aspects in tactics and most importantly too time consuming. training and buying go hand and hand/ one is not stronger than the other like other here are making it be.. Planning in tactics with players talent has a window that closes Manon. You know this as true you've been Nt coach.

I have six players of my nine (well, ten now) player rotation that I trained since they were eighteen, and I'm far from the most effective trainer. You can train three players at a given time in full single position training (though of course it's more reliable to only have two and a third guy who gets minutes when things work out right) or six if you do two positions (or five fairly reliably).

It's very hard to train from scratch at a top level, of course, as long as you want to also compete in the league (and of course the Cup as well). I was able to do it in III, didn't even bother trying in II - I finished up my big men, finally got my FT training where I wanted it and now I'm just using a level 2 trainer and training rebounding or SB to avoid having any more team training whenever possible to minimize the chance of skill drops.

Well if it just was a training game we would have avatars just lift weights. It just so happens that the central part in this game is basketball game. Training is not needed at all actually and you can.go your entire BB career without training players if you like.

... except if you want to play a basketball manager game ... or if you want to ever have a winning record ... little details like that.

I understand you have to defend the game -- that's your job. But please spare us the BS. We know what it is. Even GM-hrudey just said:
