He is averaging 4.4 fouls a game...but yeah, tough to deal with.

up to 4.6 now in 31 min. per game now... -_-

Well on top of my PF, my starting center also fouled out... on 4 non-shooting fouls in 29 minutes!?! & he's not at all foul prone! Only averaged 2.7 fouls per game last season! (Even with the 6 fouls inflating it, is at 3.1 this season). But yeah, it's my biggest annoyance in BuzzerBeater. Not even kidding that I'd rather have lost.

This is what I don't get: even my foul-prone pf, last season only fouled out 1 of his last 34 games. & averaged 3.7 fouls in more min/game. If the aggressiveness attribute doesn't change, how does the below make sense?

PF's average fouls per season:
season 10: 1.6 fouls
season 11: 3.1 fouls
season 12: 2.4 fouls
season 13: 2.6 fouls
season 14: 2.2 fouls* (but far less avg. min played that season so throw out)
season 15: 3.7 fouls
season 16: 4.6 fouls (4 games fouled out & 2 with 5)

I mean it's understandable going up against a $100k monster. Or vs. a dominant scorer that gets to the FT line consistently week after week. But this... i don't even...

Yet I would have been much happier had i lost, so long as the foul bs never occurred.

I would have been much happier at that result also :-)

no idea what's going on....although I would get rid of the PF unless he has a history of injuring people.

You think he should dump Garabalde?

Yep. Last two seasons (in D2) he's fouling has gone up and he does seem to be an aggressive player. It seems to be causing problems, so I'd dump him.

EDIT:
I think the fouls on the other big were a fluke I think, but you can guess that Garabaldo or whatever will have foul problems every game. So if anyone else has foul problems (which happens every now and again) that you'll be in trouble.

Agreed...if you dont have a backup that's close to equal in quality and have to count on that player then it's best to move them. It'd be nice if they didn't make the aggressive rating hidden, always a bit of an annoyance to have to go thru each players fouling history when your searching. Supposedly there are advantages to having a player that is highly aggressive but they, like shotblocking, are yet to be quantified.

Thanks for the advice everyone. Will keep all that in mind.

Actually I was fine with last season. (Wasn't all that bad really... 3.7 fouls in about 38 min/game). Wouldn't even mind if he fouled out of every single game, if he could get the same # of minutes at least. Hoping there's just been some bad luck. Last PL game had 38 min. & only 1 foul. (3 weeks earlier had 6 fouls in 20 min vs. a $17k PF.)

BTW, got the trifecta last game:
2 9:01 20 — 14 Foul called on F. Sisk (A).
2 8:54 20 — 14 Foul called on H. Penoni (A).
2 8:48 20 — 14 Foul called on J. Albano (A).

it might help on your team. seems to be offensively challenged at times.

It has. Just scored 98 points on the road -- including a 54 point outburst from my backup SG! boo...yah
