Sharks Eat Calamari in Season 11
It has been an interesting season - well not really. The Sharks stayed ahead of the Calamari pretty much the whole way, and the end result? You guessed it - Sharks dominated the Calamari on the ladder board 111 - 99 at the end of the regular season.
But wait - that's not the end of the story. The Calamari had one last bastion of hope - to win both the West and East conferences, nab the +15 point bonus points, and pull away with a win 111 - 114.
In the West finals, Koopasaurus faced off against the Goldfish, and in an epic struggle (well not really - fishy spanked the Koopasaur), Fishy came away with a win, and giving new hope to the Calamari. Well done Fishy - you are a true shark and we would be happy to recruit you into our fold next season :)
Anyway, the score was now 111 - 109, only two points separating the two rival federations. It all came down to the results in the Eastern Conference. A win by the Calamari here would allow them to sneak from behind and snatch glory away from the Sharks. Alas it was not to be - The Gladiators whomped the Whompas, and the Bears squashed the Titans, making it an all Sharks affair in the Eastern finals, to be played out this Friday. The result? Who cares! Sharks take the 5 point bonus from the east, making the final score 116-109. Bainsy and YPB get the last LOL.
