Yeah - past life me would have done everything to actually win the league.
Current me realizes this game is all about finances and throwing Saturday saved me ~400k between salaries and overextension tax. With my only goal here to win the NBBA title I'm treating every dollar like it's precious haha.
I will say - this strategy didn't materialize until I bought those last couple of players and my salary shot up. I didn't have any intention of adding that much salary originally, but I've had a couple saved market searches and both those guys were unique against what I was looking for skill wise and the cost for them.
I wasn't 100% intentionally misleading. We'll call it 45%.
