Great 8
=======
Cheesecake (Home) vs Birds Birds (Away)
Another one sided-match on Season 15 playoff match, as the Birds Birds has most of their players departed away from team. So, Cheesecake will catch a break by earning an automatic wins to head on to semifinal. However, they are going to lose two of their key players, Justin Linde-Liepins and Vincent Katic due to 2 weeks injury. Both of them are likely won't be playing any of playoff games.

Pekanbaru Jaguars vs Fat Alexander
The most bad-blooded rivalry match. Jaguars and Fat-A have met up for 3 straight times playoff games, dated from season 13, once at quarter-final and twice at Semifinals, with Fat-A lead 2-1 on the playoff head-to-head. The Jaguars failed to gain the 1st seed after surrendered their regular finale to Cheesecake 73-76, which lead them to the early rivalry war with Fat-A. This time, Jaguars slightly will have the edge by playing host to Fat-A as visitor. But still, it's not Fat-A team if they are not planning to run deep on the playoff. Fat-A has just acquired Germany's 170k bigman Karel Jagannathan just before the trade deadline expired. With his presence, Fat-A is expected to overpower the Jaguars inside, after the Jaguars being left thin on the inside presence. Phillipines Sofronio Mabutol, the Jaguars new acquisition, was ruled out of playoff after injured his left quad on last scrimmage games. Will Jaguars survive the new look of Fat-A team? Only miracle knows...

Haha, if i didn't strengthen my squad after selling Singapore national E.Chakalis i would have no chance against you. This is going to be the most epic playoffs, sad that there are two bot teams though.

Yeah, I would do the same thing. Chaikalis was good for Merchandise money, but didn't fulfil your team need. Can't wait for tomorrow game ...

Donkey and Birds are really a strong build team, they weren't easy to beat on their own homecourt.
If you ever seen their players that being released, most of them have good attributes (Defense, Shooting, Stamina) to build a good team.

For the first time in BB history, Relegation games look interesting as well...

Whampoa Allstars (Home) vs SLZH (Away)
SGP Tournament Defending Champions Whampoa Allstars failed to make into playoff for the first time in a decade of SGP Buzzerbeaters League, and now they must fight off SLZH to avoid being delegated to Div II. SLZH enjoyed their first experience of SBBL, but still hit by injuries and inconsistency as they still adapting with the "hot weather" of SBBL league. Recent purchase on Frenchie Roméo Laigre seems promising, dropped 29pts on 11-16 shooting on his debut vs CCC. But the honeymoon should stop here, because the opponent is much tougher, experienced. If SLZH still show those mid-season performance, no surprise they could be wiped out easily.

Compassvale United (Home) vs Eric United (Away)
This one would be the most awaiting match, as it will decide whether Eric Utd, one of the IBBL longest tenure, are able to survive the Relegation match. Compassvale Utd owned the home court advantage, means that Eric Utd must steal one game at Compassvale Indoor Stadium. From players quality, Eric Utd still look like their old style, running and gunning with Milan Vukic patroling on the middle. So, does it means Compassvale will be in trouble? Not that easy with their newly purchased sharpshooter Point Guard, Giovanni Dushku. Now it's all depends on the team luck and player conditioning.

S15 - SBBL Playoff - Shohoku Backers cruised past Sessioes Doers, Pekanbaru Jaguars survived Fat Alexander.

Things still look handy for Shohoku Backers as Sertug Acay's 29pts 12reb lead the team to tame Sessioes Doers 95-80. Lead 25-16 since 1st quarter, SHB never looked back with lead keep balooning to 80-54 at 3rd quarter. SD did storm back within 9pts deficit behind Roberto Paz on 4th quarter, but Aniol Soler keep finding his open man for easy shot, keeping SHB lead safe until the end. Soler has 13pts and 8ast. On SD side, only Roberto Paz and Eike Balkhausen register with double digit points. Paz did score gamehigh 30pts, but Balkhausen only had 10pts and 7reb, slowed down by early foul trouble.

Meanwhile on Great 8 side, Petrus Debrier season high 28pts and Huo Xiang Song brilliant 4th quarter brought Pekanbaru Jaguars defeat the Fat Alexander 87-75. As expected, Fat-A were using their inside strength to muscle through the bigman-depleted Jaguars team, but Petrus Alexandersson was solid though, played his best defense and did his usual business, rebounding. He has only 8 points on 4/11 FG, but grabbed 20rebs and played 47 minutes without any Personal Fouls. Another Jaguars' bigman, ex U21 Huo Xiang Song, keep rising up his game, hit jumpers after jumpers, including the big 3pts at 4th quarter that drive the sellout Tribuana's crowds gone frenzy. Huo has 15pts and 6reb and Greek Thiseas Chantampakis has 18pts 8reb 4asts. On Fat-A side, Gianpaulo Montecucco lead the team with 19pts and 6ast, Foong Chin Huat has 17pts, hit 5/5 FG on 3rd quarter but only 3/8 at 4th, Gimenez Guera with 15pts 15rebs. SGP NT Yeo Tse Hui were held to 5/16 FG, scored only 12pts.

Cheesecake & Singapore Showstoppers had an easy win on quarterfinal as they were playing the Donkey & Birds team without their manager & best players. Showstoppers won walkover game 25-0, and Cheesecake blew past Birds Birds 134-31.

On the Relegation Games, Compassvale Utd runaway from Eric Utd 4th quarter attack, won the 1st game 105-99, led by Erkki Kangur with 37pts. Althought Giovanni Duskhu only played 4 minutes due to injury, Compassvale still able to withstand Eric's team that almost got it there behind Alfredo Montecucco 30pts and 10ast. Game 2 will be hosted by Eric Utd.

On another Relegation Game, Omri Arnon scored 28 and Victor Nolledo 22pts brought Whampoa Allstars win their 1st match over SLZH 109-97. Leading only 53-47 at half, Whampoa try to run it away at 3rd, leading as much as 13, but Bela Gorboi were hot at 4th, hitting shot everywhere to bring SLZH 85-90, but Franziskus Detjen solid inside play extend the lead to 94-85 with 1 minute left, and Whampoa escaped with a win. Detjen has 17pts and 15rebs, holding fellow French Romeo Laigre to only 6pts 3/11 shooting. Bela Gorboi lead SLZH with 30pts, Alejo Estoya with 14pts & 15reb. Game 2 will be hosted by SLZH.

Playoff Semifinal :
