That text has actually existed for a loooong time as far as I can tell. It was just hidden. So well hidden in fact, that the viewer couldn't find it :-)

I'll have a look at that bug.

Not sure if you've looked at it, but here's something else. I left the matchviewer running through halftime. It said that my game would start up again at 8:58 (the half ended at 8:48). The game didn't start up again until 9:06.

I'm going to sort this out soon. I've just put in a new handling model for the XML interface to the viewer and fixed up some memory stuff so things shouldn't bloat so much. Boring, boring things :-) I tested it through the games today and it appears to work, so I'll get that published after the next slew of games on Thursday. Nothing exciting though.

It's all fits and starts at the moment, fixing things up on the site that need more immediate solutions, but I'm starting to see light at the end of that thar tunnel. Well, not really, but I can always hope :-)

And since I've got you here, another thing with the matchviewer. I left the viewer open from some time in the first quarter through the end of the third quarter. When the quarter ended, I reloaded the page and the viewer showed me a point in the game with 8 mins left in the fourth quarter. I assume this is some sort of memory/bloat thing?

Oh, and watch out for that oncoming train. :)

That's to do with how flash handles the internal clock. It runs a routine once per second, but flash doesn't really have a good grasp of what one second actually means. So, slowly but surely it runs out of sync. The problem is obviously exacerbated by the fact that a small margin of error per second adds up to a lot over an hour. I'm working on a solution to re-sync the clock during the breaks ( and maybe timeouts ) so that this doesn't happen - or at least discrepancies to the magnitude of 4 minutes can be avoided.

Oh, and watch out for that oncoming train.

I'm made of rough cut diamonds and the clippings from Chuck Norris' beard. You should see the last train that hit me :-)

In my latest game (1398514) I noticed a very annoying, almost furiating bug on the scoring situations. It happened four times (once in the first and third, twice in the second quarter), that after a solid playmaking and a scored chance the opponent got a chance of their own immediately - in the same second as the chance of mine - and scored, too.

Just to make it clear to all, it goes like this:

2:08 Player A goes for an inside shot.
2:08 Scored.

Then on my side of the court:

2:08 Player B makes a drivind lay-up.
2:08 Scored.
---

Because of these 8 points, I lost the game.

And just to add another bug - which (surprisingly) also worked against me - in the game there was a single case, where my center took a defensive rebound. One second later my PF was called for a OFFENSIVE foul and - yet again - on the same second as the foul is called, my opponent scores a normal 2 point lay-up.

Altogether, I'm happy how my game went, as it was a much better one than a few of them in the near past. However if these kind of bugs keep showing up against me, it just might cost me my ticket for staying in the league.

I hope this bug can be found and fixed quickly so that no one else has to suffer from it :)

Greets, Elliott

When my players score, the other team gets the points?

That is a really huge bug!

Shall we trust the scoreboard or the match events and player stats?

I´m really confused now!?

i'm pretty sure these are all presentation bugs... the simulation was done correctly but its been reported incorrectly. I will check into it, but there is always time taken off the internal clock of the simulation whenever there is a change of possession and the ball successfully makes in over half court.
