I am stating my opinions as they were completely obvious, because they are obvious.

PR Managers are worthless, literally. No one buys them, no one sees any benefit to them other then their tiny home court or road benefit they'll bring if they have a specialty. You can pick up a world renowned PR manager for 1k .
I also like how the specialty bonus doesn't improve with the level of pr manager, what the hell?

How about the fact you have a cap on how much money you can make in your respective division ?
The merch income never makes any sense.
I've lost a single game once and literally lost tens of thousands of income in my next home game. Are you serious? I'm going to lose 30-40% of my audience because I lost a game?

And yes, the majority of injuries happen in the first quarter, we've already had people concede this fact.

What are you even blabbering about? You've never even played HT apparently, with this nonsense you just posted.

Oh at least when a player gets a goal he's actually on the field, as oppose to bb where guys mysteriously get points when they're on the bench..really that hasn't been fixed yet? we're only in season 22!

Actually, hrudey has been on HT since 2003. And when you have half of BB population on at once during most given days on HT, and when you have tons more supporters, and when you have been on the Internet a few years longer, then you would probably be a bit ahead, don't you think?

I've only played it enough to be a U20 manager and to have the achievement for the #1 league rank in the USA. I imagine that doesn't measure up to your illustrious career, of course, but despite that sad state of affairs I do think I have at least been around there long enough to have some small idea of how the engine there works.

And the whole getting a goal thing is the perfect example. For "normal" goals (i.e., not SP, not SE), a goal is scored when the chance is generated and then the random number generated beats the threshhold required for that sector's attack rating to beat the corresponding defense rating. Once the goal is determined to have been scored, the engine then decides who to credit the goal to, which is random (though scoring skill is used to weight the randomness). It's season 50-freaking-1 (though that's off because it was essentially a Swedish beta for several seasons before the USA and a few other countries were added), and yet goal scoring is still not even determined by any individual players but by a mish-mash of ratings?

Um yeah No one?

I picked up a level 3 for about a 10K weekly salary.
12/29/2012 Signing bonus for staff PR-Manager Alberto Kirpatrick $ 1 000

Merchandise
11/26/2012 Weekly Merchandise profit $ 29 437
12/3/2012 Weekly Merchandise profit $ 39 222
12/10/2012 Weekly Merchandise profit $ 37 177
12/17/2012 Weekly Merchandise profit $ 35 508
12/24/2012 Weekly Merchandise profit $ 35 752
12/31/2012 Weekly Merchandise profit $ 35 291
1/7/2013 Weekly Merchandise profit $ 38 742
1/14/2013 Weekly Merchandise profit $ 41 386
1/21/2013 Weekly Merchandise profit $ 39 230
1/28/2013 Weekly Merchandise profit $ 43 139
2/4/2013 Weekly Merchandise profit $ 42 803
2/11/2013 Weekly Merchandise profit $ 43 990

Obviously a week after I upgraded, I saw my merchandise go up nearly 4k. But from 12-31, to today, it has grown, 8.5K. Going from a level 2, to a level 3, PR guy, cost me 6k more. So that alone is a 2K weekly gain.
As you can see from severance. Alberto Kirpatrick salary this week, $12 921 a difference of 6.6K

12/29/2012 Severance fee for staff PR-Manager Alfonso Moncaleano $ 6 311

Then you have Gate receipts
11/13/2012 League Playoff Game against Lumber Jacks $ 72 416
12/1/2012 League Game against Trailblazers17 $ 177 343
12/6/2012 National Tournament Game against New York Slams $ 50 000
12/8/2012 League Game against Lumber Jacks $ 166 672
12/13/2012 National Tournament Game against DaddysGirls $ 50 000
12/18/2012 League Game against shm $ 162 334
12/20/2012 National Tournament Game against Team Super Awesome $ 50 000
12/27/2012 National Tournament Game against coral springs colts $ 50 000
12/29/2012 League Game against New York Chunks $ 176 830
1/3/2013 National Tournament Game against San Diego Eagles $ 50 000
1/5/2013 League Game (Televised) against Cyborgs $ 176 830
1/10/2013 National Tournament Game against Springfield Juggernauts $ 50 000
1/12/2013 League Game against Baker Street Irregulars $ 176 830
1/22/2013 League Game against Red Fort $ 179 730
1/29/2013 League Game against Rip City Outlaws $ 194 260
2/5/2013 League Game against G-Men $ 171 307
2/9/2013 League Game against Team ZYX $ 197 340

My last game was a sellout, actually, after upgrading, only 1 game wasn't a sellout. Prior to that, not so many sellouts. Not only that, but both games I bolded, where home games coming off of loses, and both against a 2nd place ranked team at the time, on the Big 8 and 1 in the Great 8. A $17.5K difference. Add that to the Merchandise bump, and its a roughly a +20k weekly investment. So yeah, they are so totally not worth the investment.

OK I am going to experiment more with PR Managers, but do you have any national players you're training that could have an effect on your income?

Not a 1. Maybe I'll have an u21 in 3 seasons. Crosses fingers and hopes for no long injuries or screwed up minutes.

I just had an injury in the middle of the fourth quarter. Clearly that's a bug!
