I believe he did not mean that BB should set a value, rather present some kind of average value for the particular player type. Something similar to the transfer comapre in HT.

There are a bunch of reasons to stop or at least limit day trading. Here are the most imoprtant according to me:

* It makes no sense that players sign contracts if they have a high risk to be traded the day after (and if you introduce something that does not make sense you should have a really good motivation for it and there actually is none)

* A skillfull coach can never ever outplay a skillfull day trader in the long run. Thus it creates an unbalance where economic skills are much more important than tactical skills and after all this is a bball game (or at least marketed as sush)

* Even though trading requires some skill the most important factor for succesful trading is time. People with a lot of time to spend on the transfer market can get major benefits. This goes against the basic idea of BB (or at least what is marketed as a basic idea) of not needing to login too much while still being able to be succesful (if you are good enough)

This are exactly my points. I would put the last two points together to say that a skilfull coach will never ever outplay a coach with a lot of time. As a result the higher series will be populated by day trading users with a lot of time.

A good example on why a fee on the transfer is of little efficient: Look at player: (2258449) He is not the very best player. Bought for 50 000 and re-bought for 599 000 and now for sale for almost 999 000. What problem do the fee make?

Punching myself in the nuts would be more effective than using HT's Transfer Compare.

I selldom use it, but actually for beginners it is a decent (even though far from perfect) tool to help beginners from making too stupid mistakes.

I have no strong opinion if BB should have something similar or not, I was just pointing out that I believed that you misunderstood the post you commented.

He hasn't been sold for 599000. His owner bought him from himself.
This is another technique I don't like: a coach will put a player on the transfer list for 0$ and then offer for him an exagerate amount of money. Inexperienced coaches see that somebody offered for that player and feel safe offering 1000$ more.

Taxes would solve this problem. (But not day trading as a whole)

but that does not mean that the game should be about economics.

The game based on tactic and one tactic is that you should try to have better players than your opponent, good players costs money and how you can earn faster money - you should buy cheap and sell expensive!!!

If you think a little bit into future there will be hopefully a lot of more teams at BB and of course a lot of more leagues, how do you think could a new manager come to premier league without a good financial tactic? It would be boring because the teams in higher leagues would have the best players the most money and the most experience

- thats my opinion and because of that I think daytrading is one tactic of this game although I cant like like if someone makes more money and has better player than I :-)

U've only one trasfer, pay more attention to the market and you'll see that something should be improved. In my opinion I would prefer to go in premier league becuase I've choosen the good player and the good tactic for my team, for sure I will not have satisfaction to arrive in premier league only because I wasted 80% of my time making trading. Think that without trading eveyone can arrive in premier league, with day trading only who plays as a day trader can do that, do you think this is a beautiful game? Anyway I don't think I can convince you because we have completely a different vision of the game; I can understand you but if the game will continue in this way I think I'll leave it simply because is not more fun.

Sorry i didn't make myself very clear, what i ment and the other guy understood what i was saying, is a value for people to refrence so beginers or people who aren't knowledgeable about the transfer market have a refrence point when buying a player and hopefully choose not to way overly pay for the player. I didn't mean BB should actully set the price of the player.

I understand that.

It's not feasible to do anything like that with the myriad of available skills.

HT is more feasible with the limited amount of skills relevant to a position.
