Lol my writing skill is not comparable to Hunterz'z
Thanks, I think that's a compliment but I assure you I'm not that great either. I just use volume to trick you into thinking its good :) And I assume I speak for the entire league when I say we appreciate the effort. Any activity in the forums spices things up regardless of whether its spectacular or complete crap so keep writing. :)
WELCOME IV.28 SEASON 24 FINALS!
Miu @ Springfield: Interesting matchup here. Both excellent teams from top to bottom. Demis Passas
(18028994) is the only player from either team to finish in the top 5 in any statistical category for the season (Passas finished tied for 4th in spg with 1.9). I think this speaks volumes to the balance, depth, and teamwork mentality of each team. Every single player that steps on the court will be looking for a win and nothing else; personal stats are meaningless to these guys and thats the kind of attitude that leads to unbelievable team chemistry and ultimately success. I know its not much of a consolation prize but whichever team ends up falling short will, I believe, make a return trip to the Finals next season. Miu will rely on young guns Wade Osborn
(24734856) and Skip Couture
(26037841) who average a combined 33.2ppg, 8.2 apg, and 6.7 rpg to steal an away game and give themselves the 1-0 lead heading into a home game. The Storm will look for Ian Kosta
(22880252) to set the tone on both ends of the court with his 16.6ppg, 12.7rpg, and team leading 1.8 bpg; I expect the Passas/Kosta pick and roll will play a signifcant role. Despite those key players being a focus both teams use a relatively even shot distribution and double teams or lagging defense will be punished most harshly. This matchup will be both an offensive showcase and defensive struggle. Miu has won all 3 previous meetings but has also had HCA in each event. It is definitely a tough game to predict but I think it's the Storm's time to shine; after 4 straight trips to the finals I believe they will finally get a win against Miu using their hard work all season to secure HCA to tip the balance. Storm win in 3 games taking both home games.
Best of luck to both teams!
