很多領隊或已了解到B3冠軍已把規模擴大一倍! 而比賽模式將與瘋狂星期三杯賽一樣:
- 中立場地比賽
- 瑞士式比賽抽籤(共有7輪比賽)
- 128隊參賽 (最佳64隊進入淘汰賽)
- 參賽資格不變
- 我們會以世界排名 (杯賽、頂級聯賽、B3及瘋狂星期三頂級比賽)以填滿餘下席位

第55季的BB冠軍杯賽由capali執教的durma yolcu!勝出，這是繼第19季再次由土耳其球隊取得此最高榮譽。究竟他對封阻能力的喜愛會否令其他玩家動心? 他的球隊在決賽主宰，以99-87贏下由Bill_tipesh統領的Ramat-Gan Billers。

第55季的B3競猜優勝者是:來自台灣的黑血球! 而第二名是土耳其的capali(是前述的同一位!)以及希臘的The Aussie。免費的支持者功能已送到他們手上，恭喜!

U21世界錦標賽由kikeflori所率領的西班牙贏下YaMaYo領軍的立陶宛，實力相近的比賽最後以104-92完結。而本季成年隊世界冠軍賽將於波赫舉行。

Welcome to Season 56!

During the offseason, the BB coaches have attended several seminars on the less used and under-performing match tactics. This means that some of the tactics are now going to become better choices than they were. The coaches agree that this could greatly benefit the variety of options used across all levels in BB, giving new life to some ignored or forgotten tactics in both offense and defense.

Our player exhaustion implementation is nearing the end of it’s testing phase. We’ve decided to drop the exhaustion related injuries and just focus on reducing player performance after the exhaustion prerequisites are reached and it triggers, which should happen much more often than before. You can test and preview the new changes in action in Private League matches starting today, with implementation for all matches planned for the AllStar break.

As most of the managers already know, our B3 competition has been doubled in size! On top of that, B3 is adopting a similar format to BBM:
- Neutral site games
- Swiss weekly draw (7 rounds)
- 128 teams (64 team bracket)
- Same qualification requirements as the current B3
- Remaining spots to reach 128 teams are filled using World Rank from the pool of Cup, D.I, B3, and BBM T.1 runner ups.

The BB app is coming along nicely, once we have an alpha to test, we will give out a call for testers. All the currently released screenshots are available here. We will be releasing more screenshots as they become available. /images/appScreens01.png

Season 55 B3 tournament was won by durma yolcu!, managed by capali, which is the second time a Turkish manager got the highest honors of BB since season 19. We wonder if his newfound love for shot blocking changes other managers’ lack of love for it. His team controlled the match and won the final game 99 - 87 over Ramat-Gan Billers of Bill_tipesh.

Season 55 B3 prediction contest winners are, in ranking order: 黑血球 from Taiwan at the top, followed by capali (again!) from Turkey and The Aussie from Greece, sharing second place. Free Supporter packages have been already awarded to the winners, congratulations!

The U21 World Championship was won by Spain, led by kikeflori over Lietuva, coached by YaMaYo. The close match ended 92-104. This season’s senior National Team championships will be held in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Offensive/Defensive Tactic Improvements Summary

Our goal is to continually monitor the balance and performance of offensive and defensive tactics in BuzzerBeater. Starting now, in Season 56, we have made minor improvements to the following tactics:

Offenses:
- Base Offense
- Inside Isolation
- Outside Isolation

Defenses:
- 2-3 Zone
- Inside Box and One
- Outside Box and One

球員疲勞更新上線 (更新)

Player exhaustion implementation (UPDATED!)

The short roster tendencies have been addressed from a variety of aspects, the latest being the implementation of the player exhaustion in all matches except for scrimmages, starting today, March 4th, 2022. While this change won't affect most managers at all or very slightly, we believe it will prevent using short rosters as effectively as they were at the top level of all competitions.

Short overview of player exhaustion:
- it only affects players over certain age
- it can happen only after a player has already played most of the match without much rest (hasn't been subbed enough)
- it does not affect injuries nor does generate them

Of course, since BB is ever evolving, we will monitor the effect and possibly tinker with it over time.

Update! Since short rosters are not a real problem during regular season, we decided to exclude, along with scrimmages, all regular season matches from the exhaustion implementation, starting now, March 7th, 2022.

第56季的B3競猜優勝者是意大利的gianloco!亞軍則是同分的 bigshoes(來自香港)及Tintin(來自法國)。

最後恭賀中國(由陈硕良帶領)再次奪得世界冠軍，在第4節從德國手上拿下19分分差，最後以98-85取勝，為他們的獎杯展示櫃加上第8個世界冠軍! Charles M.執教的德國雖在第3節後段時仍有7分優勢，但最終失利。不過，德國13年來(繼第8賽季)再次在決賽亮相仍值得祝賀。

Welcome to Season 57: App alpha!

Let’s not beat around the bush: yes, our app has finally entered the alpha stage! BB-Justin has been updating you with his progress via his forum posts, but now, the lucky few can try it out for themselves. The alpha testing is handled by our new Community Manager CM-Alonso, and our goal is to have an open beta available for everyone by the end of the season.

In addition to the app, we have implemented some improvements in the match engine. Including enhanced Box and One defenses, reducing the effect of higher stamina levels, and adjusting player aggressiveness when in foul trouble. The new GE is deployed and is applied to all matches starting now. (Note: The exhaustion effect is still excluded in regular season matches and scrimmages)

This season's B3 Final ended with a game winning buzzerbeater! After an insane 11 point comeback in the 4th quarter ending with the game winning jump shot, KS Goldena(managed by Kozlik4) wins their first B3 title! They took down the returning champion from season 42, Utopian team Folgado Lakers II(managed by Darkonako) 78 - 77.

The B3 prediction contest winners are in 1st place gianloco (Italia), tied for second bigshoes (Hong Kong) and Tintin (France).

Congratulations to China (coached by 陈硕良) for regaining its world champion title thanks to an extraordinary 4th quarter in which they outscored Deutschland by 19 points! Leading to a final result of 98 - 85. China added their 8th World Championship trophy to the trophy case! Tough loss for Deutschland (managed by Charles M.) after leading by 7 near the end of the 3rd quarter, but they can still celebrate their first World Championship Finals appearance since season 8 (13 years ago!).

球員疲勞調整下季上線!

在下一季(賽季58)，疲勞效果調整將於所有聯賽中使用。

上一季，為減少使用較少出場球員的情況，我們決定把球員疲勞效果更新。但因影響球員訓練，我們最終決定暫緩實施，好讓我們尋找更佳的解決辦法。

下季起，我們會把球員疲勞在所有聯賽比賽中調整。屆時所有27歲或以上的球員將受調整影響，並只需每周上陣40分鐘便獲得完全訓練效果。

距離本賽季完結還有一段時間，我們期望收到您的回饋!

Player Exhaustion: Next Season

Starting in season 58, the exhaustion effect will be implemented in all league games.

Last season, we introduced the "Player Exhaustion Effect" which was created in order to counter short rosters. Due to concerns in training, we decided to turn off exhaustion in league games, until we could make it work better with training.

Starting next season, we will implement the exhaustion effect in all league games. All eligible players for exhaustion, 27 years old and above, will only need 40 minutes per week in order to receive full training.

There is still plenty of time left until S58 so we'll be looking for your feedback about this change!

BB手機應用程式Beta測試版公告

內部測試版BB 手機應用程式將會在六月二十五日優先提供給支持者及第二隊擁有者使用! 公開測試版則將會在七月二十五日(也就是賽季58的開季)對其餘所有的球隊經理們開放!

我們目前還不確定手機應用程式何時會在App Store及Google Play上架。我們想要進一步改善應用程式並且將其在正式上架之前改到對新玩家來說更加友善的程度。這一步不會太久，但我們還沒有明確的日期可以提供給各位。各位對於測試版的回饋會對於我們達成目標非常有幫助!

此外，我們正在尋找對於手機/網頁的UI/UX設計有相關經驗的人來幫助我們改善手機應用程式及網頁的外觀及風格。有興趣的各位可以跟BB-Justin聯絡並進一步了解相關細節。

BB App Beta Announcement

The beta version of the BB App will be available for Supporters and owners of Utopia teams next month, on June 25th! The open beta for the rest of BB managers will start on the 25th of July (the Beginning of Season 58)!

We don't know when the App will be released to the public in the App Store and Google Play yet. We want to further improve the App and make it more new-user friendly before releasing to the public. That shouldn't take too long, but we don't have a specific date yet. Your input in the upcoming beta testing will help us reach this goal!

Also, we are looking for anyone with experience in mobile or web UI/UX Design that would like to help influence the future look and style of BuzzerBeater in both the App and the Website. Please contact BB-Justin for more information.

賽季57中場公告: 聯賽合併

若您是烏托邦球隊的經理，這就不算新鮮事了。如烏托邦聯盟第一天起的做法，由玩家控制的球會將會盡可能集合。我們一直為玩家給予最大升班機會(較電腦隊優先)，此程序將會於接下來的休賽期在所有聯賽中實施。
在此，有一些要點需您注意:
1. 當然，頂級聯賽將不會受影響。
2. 其餘玩家隊伍將會被橫向移動到其他同分級聯賽，盡可能與玩家對戰。
3. 為抵消收入的減少，無論是季後賽嬴家還是填補電腦隊空缺，我們將會為所有升班球會提供升班獎勵。
4. 所有全新登錄的玩家將會於充滿電腦隊或新隊伍的聯賽中比賽以減低劣勢。我們將創建一季或以內的視為新玩家。

Mid-season announcement: Team consolidation for all leagues!

For our Utopia users, this is nothing new and has been implemented from the start, making sure teams are grouped with as many other human controlled teams as possible. Since we already give human teams total priority in promotion (over bot teams), we decided to implement this new team placement starting this offseason!

Of course, there are some other aspects to this:
1. Top league teams won't be affected, of course.
2. Most human teams will change their current league and move laterally to new leagues of the same division - but now they will play mostly human opponents!
3. To offset possible losses of income, we will match the promotion awards for all promoted teams - no matter whether they are playoff winners or just promoted due to available empty slots!
4. Fresh and newly signed up teams will be placed in leagues populated only by bots or other such teams - to make sure they don't get overwhelmed right off the bat. We consider all teams 1 season or younger "fresh"

We hope you will enjoy this new initiative to make BB more competitive and fun!

聯賽合併:補充及澄清

我們把聯賽合併的計劃即將進行。但因計劃有一些疑慮及含糊的部份，我們在此盡可能向大家解說。

以一個第3級聯賽只有部份真人玩家的國家為例，第1級聯賽將不會有改變，而第2級聯賽仍會有由玩家控制球隊升級以填滿空檔。第3級聯賽將如下述方式合併:玩家控制球隊將會在數字較少的分組中作賽(即III.1、III.2、如此類推)，新隊伍將會前往數字較大的分組中比賽(即III.16、III.15、如此類推)，而電腦球隊則會在中間數字的組別中作賽。為確保所有玩家可以獲取一些勝利，每個組別(最低級別，此例子是第3級聯賽)將至少有4隊電腦隊。

在一些較多玩家的聯賽中，我們將以放置4隊電腦隊為先，再把其他聯賽組別合併。

我們預計將有一些意外情況發生，但我們會以盡力解決把合併完成。請期望更刺激的比賽!

Team consolidation: addendum and clarification

Our plan to consolidate all leagues is going forward, but since there were some concerns and ambiguity, we will try to clarify the process, as much as we can.

As an example, we should take a country with semi-filled division III. The top league will, of course, stay as it is. Division II also, as it will be filled completely by the newly promoted human controlled teams. Division III will be consolidated as follows: human teams go to leagues with lower numbers (III.1, III.2, etc...), while "fresh" teams go to highest available numbers (III.16, III.15, etc...) and bots fill the middle. There should be, if available, at least 4 bots per league in all cases to make sure there are at least a couple of easy wins for everyone.

In leagues where there's too many human controlled teams to make the consolidation work as described, placing "fresh" teams separately with 4 bots will take preference over placement of other human controlled teams.

We expect to have special cases and some possible niggles in some countries, but we will follow common sense and try to fix the placements as best we can, making changes as we go. Exciting times ahead!

如同我們在賽季57的開季時簡短的公告，從本賽季的第一場比賽，也就是7月30號開始，新的體能消耗效果將會適用於所有的聯賽當中。為了平衡體能消耗帶來的不良影響，對於27歲以上的年長球員所需要的訓練時間將會減少，目前將只會需要每週40分鐘即可達成訓練需求。

Welcome To Season 58: A Fresh Start!

It's official! 15 Years after the inception of BB, the BB App is finally available for all BB users! Remember, this is not the final form of the BB App and there are many more features that are being worked on, but it already has many functions that can help you to manage your team.

Another BB world shaking change is the all new league consolidation, which has been implemented. We hope that the new leagues and tougher competition will make the season a lot more enjoyable for everyone, “fresh” teams and the rest alike.

As announced shortly after the Season 57 began, starting on the first league game of the season, July 30th, the exhaustion effect has been implemented in all league games! Offsetting the negative impacts of the exhaustion on older players is the new reduced weekly minute requirement for 27+ year old players, as they now require only 40 minutes per week to receive full training.

Well...Our new B3 winner hornets247 (managed by Bigeasy, Tom) is certainly a believer of defense, winning the B3 Finals with the lowest B3 Finals score in BB history - 68 - 56. Only the 3rd ever team who won the B3 Finals with the 2-3 zone defense! Congratulations to DLR Basketball Club (managed by Dolar) on reaching his first B3 Finals!

比利時的最強連環強隊殺手，由JoeMaverick aka "The Format Guy"所領軍的Vottem Cowboys成功地將通往冠軍之路上的所有對手全部清除，為Joe，同時也為比利時拿下了第一座B3冠軍盃賽的冠軍盃！在整個競賽中團隊犯規數的優勢下，他們成攻擊敗了由Darkonako所帶領的Folgado Lakers II，這是一場充滿了腦力鬥智的冠軍賽，最終比數為101 - 96！
