It's about that time of year where people start to jockey for playoff position so looking for that prized new addition doesn't surprise me.

Finally got my trainer refreshed. Still advanced but ditched 25k a week down to a guy who only makes 13k with only a 6k transfer fee. So that pays for itself in two weeks.

Ladson and Kitties making championship level moves. Generals management doesn't have that level of coin to drop as we are poor. Sure we're solvent but additions do always tend to be driven by value, must be nice to drop mad coin for players in their prime. We always end up with some guy who is fatally flawed posted at a price that is under market value at a time where he slips thru the cracks.

Ya, that's the way Meideros is for me......very salary efficient player that will get his numbers when he's called upon....although now he's getting up in age. Since moving up to DIII, I've worked on getting younger, which I have. I do have a couple of aging vet's that have played well and kept us in games. Still looking for a solid replacement for a couple on the probability I move down to DIV. It's a process I've been winning, but at a slow rate.

Tonight's opening package presents scenes of vicious rim rattling dunks, pretty breakaway layups, pin point alley oops and of the like.

Cue: https://youtu.be/-r679Hhs9Zs

Announcer: Every season takes time for each club to properly calibrate to their potential. This season is no different. And as cross over play commences it is time to gauge if there is still a gulf between the two sides.

Tonight our cameras focus in on The Mavs as they seek to hold serve at home against a sparty squad that has sputtered out of the gate.

Ladson looks to avoid becoming bait for the sharks and to Jeep pace in their conference race.

The Masters seek to hold their surprising form against a bunnies club which has shown Stark improvement from a season ago.

The Pistons and 2 engage in a contest between two teams who need a win to stay within earshot of post season honors.

Deronimo seeks to declaw the kitties as both sides need this one to keep pace with the other contenders.

While quake and the bulls battle to keep out of the cellar of their respective side.

Stormz will try to claim a road win to keep up with the rest of the blue bloods as winners is seeking answers to get out of the club red dungeon.

And the blizzards will seek to pull a snow job on the Generals to avenge a rather bitter blowout loss last season.

Sybil will be here with her say. We will look a little closer at Thursdays cup contests. Plus tonight's vox Populi will explore just what methodology is used when putting together the fan survey. So stick and stay, there's all of that and much more on the way as interconference play commences as it's time again for BB2NIGHT!

That game had more twists and turns than a dime store novel. Generals dominate the first half, up by as much as 22, still up 16 at halftime. But in the 2nd half in the words of Jim Ross, business picked up. The lead narrowed to six by the end of the 3rd, and that kept right on well into the final stanza. At one point the blizzards had a 86-79 lead with around five minutes left. The igloo was going Gonzo, those dastardly bastards from the 'boro were getting their so just comeuppance. But the worm had one more turn as over those final fateful minutes the generals dug DEEP and came up with something special as a 20-6 game ending spurt means a happy post game meal at the Waffle House on the bus ride home.

One sweet tea, I am Eating here but put that bad boy in a to go cup, I will have the Angus Double Cheeseburger, all I want on it is grilled onions, toast the bun with butter on the grill, an order of the hash browns scattered and well done. Douse some 57 sauce on the burger and the browns and your good to go. Though the ultimate BLT is also a winner, have them put extra bacon on that mother along with a order of browns and an side of angioplasty and that is also a fine white trash culinary confection. I tell ya one thing NOT to order at the Waffle House....the waffles!

Crazy game.....I had to make some changes due to Stamina but felt we did ok with the guys involved. Hopefully I can get the kinks worked out down the stretch. At least we didn't get smoked like a pack of Kools this go round.....
