Hey, a belated happy birthday to you! Then you got an early present last week by qualifying and this week a belated one with the great victory! That‘s really awesome and I hope you could celebrate a bit with the korean players.

But Shin still scored a game high 21 points. Too bad that HS We didn't even score in double digits. Very rare that he's so focused on not scoring. But also didn't pass the ball around too well either. But better than Shin. But HT Kim showed them all how it's done. Dishing out a game high 5 assists. So .. not all is lost. And those 61 points that we were lacking (or rather 62) will be scored in the next game.

I just realized yesterday (before the data was updated) that HS We already entered the Top 10 in carreer assists for the NT. I wouldn't have thought he'd first reach that milestone before entering the Top 10 in scoring

Last Monday, HS We made his apparition in the Top 10 in scoring. Wish granted ! Soon to be top 9 in both rankings.

Didn't have a look this week, thanks for the heads-up! Looking good. He should be able to score the one point to advance and even Top 8 should be within reach in scoring. Looking forward to the next few games! And he's also pretty close to Shin in points scored. If he leads after this season it definitely was a hard fought battle with his teammate

Yes, I also thought we might have a shot at a win. And our offense is definitely pretty good. But yes: we need more frontcourt players that can score in the paint. It's too easy to stop our great outside offense with a simple 3-2 zone (and it's still not as easy for us to stop a LI with a 2-3 vor example ... even though you probably wouldn't even play that zone). So I guess we need a generation of LI-players. Park and Kim might become a bit more versatile to help out occasionally but that'll take at least 4-5 seasons to get them ready for the NT. And HT Kim, HS We, JM Kang at least have some inside power but that's only an addition that's helpful if you have inside players who have IS 18+ (and I guess we don't even have many players who have ID 18+ ...)

So let's hope those players will arrive in the future. Then we'll look for even more than "just two wins" in the second round. Or so I hope!

And yes SB Kim: experience is the key. That's why it's so important to get the players as many league (or cup)-minutes as possible and as many minutes for the NT and u21 early on. That's what boosts the skills. I guess SB Kim with the same skillset and experience 10-12 wouldn't perform half as good as he does now ...
