no.. the idea is that if you hadn't fouled you would have run out of time to come back.. by fouling you get the ball back faster, and in this case it worked.. you were down 6 with a minute to go and ended up making it a close game.. if they had missed a few more FTs you would have won the game.


So it's a feature, thank you for the clarification!

As well you could implement the RANDOM into this... Cause by the new Basketball rules in Europe situation there is fouled special for stopping the clock referee should give technical foul... So sometimes we should see technical fouls...

In theory... the last official comment on this bug (9187.3) (before people [including staff!] took it off-topic... grrr) was that the penalty situation in OT is using college rules. And technical fouls are definitely not treated as they are in the NBA.

Whenever the priority allows, there should maybe be a sweep to make sure that the engine is using a consistent set of existing official rules, with any BB exceptions noted in the rules.

Yes I know that, but would be much more better chances to team without good free trow shooters... off cause not in every gale technical fouls but even sometimes... Depends on your luck and how good is your "relationship" with Random (if it loves you or not)

i'm sorry... in europe now you can't foul to stop the clock at the end of the game? that's just silly if true.. and utterly unenforceable.

We can, but now is like in Football if you aren`t playing to the ball but to the hands or even body just for do foul doesn`t expecting to steal ball you get technical foul... So thats why I suggested implement random into this...

As far as I know in europe the clock stops at every moment in the last minute of the game. Even when the ball goes out of bounce.

The "bug" with the shot clock vs game clock reset still isn't fixed.

Defensive rebound at 6:33, PF at 6:19, shot clock resets to 14 in the vieuwer, but I think to 24 in the game engine code. Shots taken at 5:55, which is exactly 24 seconds after the PF.
