Clearly my comment about people not commenting on SM's posts, was based solely on this thread, thus the injustice towards you and probably other users participating in the discussion.
My apologies to you and eveybody else.

The market issue is making things harder indeed. This is because people trained and keep on training LI fitting players. This in turn is because thats the "right" way they've been told since entering the game.
But here we have a big contrast. The majority of users, start the game playing outside focused offenses.
For a 5 league nation for instance, its IV and V are full with such teams, to an estimate of +80%.
Even if such a user reaches III after lets say 5 seasons, slowly training and building his team, he gets to the point that he realises that he's no match to a mediocre LI team and that his own trained players, if anything, are more suited to playing LI from this level onwards.

There is a need to inform people, not that they can play outside offenses too( many already do), but primarily how to do it correctly.
I would love having a credible thread in my national forum, where it states how to set up such teams, how to run them and most importantly what kind of players i (roughly)need and how to train them.

Look inside is so far ahead, that credibility is key to this, in order to work. I would suggest, top dogs playing perimeter offenses, from around the world, opening a thread and discussing how they do it(or used to do it). Exchanging data, experiences, set up configurations, players' skillsets, training courses etc

Make all the common conclusions one big post and there are many enthousiasts around to forward this to their national forums(with translations if needed) and promote it.

No change of this magnitude can take place without the involvement of the base. No participation of the base can take place without the involvement and guidance of good experienced managers.

Why should everyone aim for a competition that you need to take extreme amounts of money and build a team that leads you towards bankruptcy if kept for a long time? I care about the national tournament and the d.1 title. Beyond that my interest dies.

I'm at this point now too. I have zero goals outside my own country because of the obvious financial strain needed to compete at the top levels of B3. Not to mention there seems to be more teams than ever taking their shot with a massive payroll this season.

Before you start drawing conclusions, look at my roster and his roster...and at game shapes. I feel my team is better and I lost to him anyway. I played LI and he played Motion. I'm playing LI because we are testing SB effects. He played at home and I suspect he had a bit more enthusiasm (I had 10), but it was a surprising win nevertheless.

Fking sun, hit me in my head. Strange game, in the most games LI win, ofc sometimes outside tactic can be good.

OK this is one game where LI loose, on every LI defeat I can show you 100 other games where LI beat all other tactics, that's the problem in the game.
No one can tell me that LI is not too dominating. I have no problem with that, but because that we have just a bit less tactical room.

If BB-s would make 2-3 stronger, the strategic part of the game would be more interesting. Just my opinion.

Regards

This is where we hold them!

Base offense has even more wins every week, but does it mean it is the only efficient tactic in the game?
