Player movements will depend on their Team's game Setup offensive and Defensive...

Zone Defenses at the start of the play... players on the Defense will rush to their respective area of assignments and will guard the passing lane between the Ball carrier and the man on their area of assignments

Man to Man Defenseit will be obvious after the man assigned to them crossed the half Court line... they'll stick to them like glue wherever it goes...

Offense players on Offensive side will move/pass the ball according to their team's Tactic...

Fast Pace will rush to their positions to overtake the Defense early

Slow Pace will cross the half court line after the Defense where in their proper positions...

Normal Pace somewhere in the middle of the Fast and Slow Pace

the final action taken play after play will be the direct translatiom/description of the GE text and where on the court it happend in play-by-play.

Amazing. You should propose yourself to make a set of animations. Currently the GE chooses in a pool of texts to describe an action. for the GE/Viewer it's exactly the same thing to choose an animation instead of a text. The difficulty is to create enough animations.

Anyone know someone that would like to donate a bunch of basketball animations?

the only problem is graphic design?

The way to go is two players animations: passer and shooter or shooter and defender.

10 players animations would be too fake

This conversation is not going well. All people are talking more than they can really do, and that is a bad thing.
You should say "I am able to do this, but I can't understand the code, I have no experience with this nor with that ..."
We are used to BB-Marin, so we don't expect big things, don' worry. People will teach you if you say what you don't know.

Now I am going to tell you the approach you can take. And you'd better listen to me, because it is the only way you will get your job done.

You show the 10 players on the floor. Something like this
https://www.espn.com/prod/styles/pagetype/otl/20151218_sta...
but both teams.

Then, when the time comes, you highlight in some way the two players involved in a play (passer and shooter or shooter and defender), same approach for other types of plays, and you show the text of the play with a big font with some effects. A little animation to start and end the game, and that's it.

It is not easy.
- you have to get right the players on the floor. Something that Marin hasn't been able to do.
- you have to get the parts of the faces and assemble them in the right place, move them around if possible.

So a lot of work, but doable.
