I'm training one-on-one. In the first post of this thread is see that training forwards is faster with this training than training your guards.

Does anyone know from experience if this is correct?

These are the training speeds of the first post:

One on One
Guards:
Trains DV @ 2-3 weeks
Trains HN @ 3-4 weeks
Trains IS @ 7-8 weeks
Trains JS @ 7-8 weeks

Forwards:
Trains DV @ 1.8 weeks
Trains HN @ 2.3 weeks
Trains IS @ 4-5 weeks
Trains JS @ 4-5 weeks

Hello.

In the fist post, most of training types, one spot, improvement each...
1-2 weeks

Can anybody tell me if it is nearer to one or two?

For example, after 10 weeks training pressure (or any other training type), one spot, one player will have improved...
10 levels?
5 levels?
6, 7, 8 , 9 ... levels?

Thanks.

The bolded part is way far from true... This is based on my One on One for Guards training:

DRV 2-3 weeks
HND 3 weeks
JS 3 weeks

Want proof?

Here's my player Giuseppe Vallome's training:

Friday, August 8.
Jump Shot - average
Handling - prolific

Friday, August 15.
Driving - prominent

Friday, August 22.
no pops

Friday, August 29.
Jump Shot - respectable
Handling - sensational
Driving - prolific

This week he had no pops... So, results are recent and correct, so JS 7-8 weeks is nonsense... And yes, One on One for Guards does not train Inside Shot, I trained that for maybe 15-20 times in past 3 seasons and didn't have any IS pop...

From what we have heard, pressure is one of the slower skills to train. Very worthwhile, but at least slower. Young trainees—say 18 to 20 or 21—can be expected to jump one level every 2 weeks in many of the skills. For older players, it takes longer and at some point, they probably don't jump at all in certain skills.

I'm new here, and i'd like to know something:

I just finished my first week of 2 of inside shooting.
One of my player popped, so should I focus on the other players?
Or could he pop again? (he is 18 y/o and I have another 32 y/o player)

You shouldn't really focus on pops as players improve each week even if they don't get pops. Eg: A newly popped respectable inside shot will probably be worse than a respectable inside shot that hasn't popped for 3 weeks whilst being trained

Thank you! :)

I have another question then, do we have a week off at some point
of the season so I should wait to train Free throws? (because they don't need playing time)

Most likely 3-4 pops, exceptionally player can have 5 pops, but that's only if his other Skills are way better than OD...

Ok, thanks.

Then we should correct the first post, since 3-4 pops every 10 weeks is less than 2 weeks each level.

From the first post, in this thread...
Pressure
PG:
Trains OD @ 1-2 weeks
Trains ID @ ?
Trains HN @ ?
Trains DV @ ?

It should say...

Trains OD @ 2-3 weeks

All star break. Where you play one league game and either 2 cup games or 1 scrimmage. So you will have 3 if you're still in the cup
