Would it be possible to unify the lists of bookmarks between the primary team and that of Utopia?
If you want to put a check on the team before bidding?
So much in making the offer "commands" the selected team not the one in which it is placed in the bookmarks .. so the error can be there anyway but at least in any of the two teams I'm watching I see the complete list of bookmarks ..
That is, in practice make a list to managers and not a team list ..

Actually, keeping the two lists at a distance can help (even if in reality it would be more useful to have some sort of indexing based on what I know of tags or categories) in some cases.
What most urged me was to have the notification on the side (the one that tells how much time is left until the auction expires etc ..) in common .. so even when one is watching the first team can see the bookmarks marked for the second team and the other way around.

(Probably been submitted before... but what the heck!)
Draft Lottery
Teams not making the playoffs is eligable for the draft lottery, much like the NBA Lottery.
Make the two first spots decided by lottery, with the last teams(worst records) having the best chance and the teams just losing out on the playoffs all have a slim chance of grabbing a top pick. Procentage like: 35,20,15,10,8,6,4,2 or even higher for the worst teams and lower for the better once. Third up to last pick following the ordinary draftorder for the remaining teams.
So a last placed team can end up first, second or at worst third.

Pros: Tankning does not guarantee a top draftpick! What more do you need? End of discussion ;-)
Also more teams will actually use their draftpoints, since there IS(not Inside Scoring dufus!) a chance of getting a top pick! Lottery is made AFTER you need to submit your draft order.
To prevent BOT-teams to draft early, they could automatically select last in complete draft OR atleast last among the top 8 picks if they qualify for the lottery. They should suck at drafting since they suck at managing so make them pick the worst players in the draft, atleast in the first round. A single manager team in a division full of BOTs should not automatically get the three best players in the draft, so some kind of randomness should be required in the later picks in my opinion.

And IMO the largest advantage of this is that it makes the fan boycot needless and therefore it could replace it. This is definitely a more fair and realistic solution, which is also what I pointed out when I suggested a lottery some time ago.

What advantage? Draft picks IMO are the last thing that lead you to tank, as investment in draft points usually doesn't pay off, and due to nature of draft (with max scouting spendings, you need 2 and 1/2 season to be able to check potential of all the prospects) 1st pick doesn't give you a big advantage.

What advantages does tanking give you then? It makes it easier to train because you don't need to worry about competing, but besides that and a top draft pick I don't see anything that makes tanking attractive.

(not to you personal, but a general statement)

If you (the royal you, meaning everyone), if you need 2.5 seasons worth of draft points to get a good draftee. Then you are not using your draft points well, and don't know what you're doing in the draft. I've never had issues securing good players, using the generic 10k a week for 2 points a week, and using just that allotment each draft.
That dates back for S4-9, and from 18-present, with 3 missed seasons between 18-present.
