But about coaching this game didn't exactly show what you said. A "1 time win by luck" (because that's, at least to me, is what we're talking about) doesn't prove that your coach did something cool.
You're right there. It was not super fancy. He played the best strategy he could with the players he had. And that strategy was quite predictable if your coach would have done some minor research.
So you are right, it was not necessarily our coach that dod amazing. It was yoir coach who did aweful. He totally underestimated his opponent, which he is known to have done before. Just a little bit of research would make it quite clear what the options of NL wpuld have been. He could have anticipated that. AND with his enth at give or take 15 he could have played normal the rest of the tournament and probably have won with the strong team and home advantage you had.
So I feel sorry for the Italian community that you have this coach.
Strongly disagree, for what is worth.
When you create a 99-1 W/L situation there is no way you can be considered poor.
Being unlucky does not mean you did something wrong. There was no underestimation I think, simply a fair analysis on the fact that NED was too way behind ITA. And that's what team ratings and matchup ratings displays. Clearly.
Then you won, congratz again, but TIE was the right choice. About the prediction, I'm with you when you say he should have set at least external focus but we're talking about details in a match we should have won by far.
But what can I say, opinions are opinions, I respect your one, you picked up a huge win and it's not in my mind to underestimate the great result you achieved.
