GL FDay, we've both been putting up some pretty nice ratings as of late so it should be a fun final

2x NBBA Champion: S55, S56. 3x USA Cup Champion: S54, S55, S56. WR for longest home streak ever at 11 in Season 47.

GL to you too, Apex! I am not expecting anything good from this game since your team is much stronger than mine, but anyway we will try our best.

To get us all hyped up for our final NBBA games these decide quite a lot going into the playoffs and I wanted to cover all possible scenarios since I had some time:

Atelier (17-4) @ Irvine Anteaters (17-4): A grudge match to decide the 1st seed in the league.

Delaware 87ers (12-9) @ Telecasters (13-8): The match which decides which team makes the playoffs and which team is out into relegation. If Delaware 89ers lose this one and 10inch can beat UK Nuggets by enough, the 89ers might slide down to 6th. Giving them a much harder matchup in relegation of Arizona Cacti instead of Flash Mashers.

10 Inch Vertical (11-10) @ UK Nuggets (5-16): The aforementioned deciding game where if 10 Inch can rack up enough PD and a win while Delaware 89ers loses by enough, they can sneak up a slot in the standings for an easy relegation series.

Delta 9 (15-6) @ Work In Progress (7-14): Has absolutely no implications on the league whatsoever besides potential playoff HCA if Delta 9 can make it to the finals.

Arizona Cacti (7-14) @ F.Day Internet Lovers Club (15-6): Should have no implications on the league at all besides potential finals HCA if F.Day were to make it to the finals.

Jim Almeidas Janitor Crew (11-10) @ Triple Double (14-7): Unless this game ends in a blowout it won't effect either team in the standings. Both are around 160 PD away from moving up a slot and would require a blowout by F.Day or Wasted Potential which is unlikely given their matchups.

Wasted Potential (12-9) @ Flash mashers (3-18): Should have no implications on the league at all besides potential finals HCA if Wasted Potential does make it to the finals.

BallHoggersFTW (8-13) @ Ice Man (1-20): Bot game, easy win for BallHoggers.

Good Luck and Have Fun Ya'll!

Out of curiosity, who is on the discord of us in the NBBA? I know of some on the discord that chat often or are mods, but was wondering if others are on there sometimes as well.

Just curious as we're talking a bit about the cup and didn't know if Mc KR would be interested in discussing the game.

I'll piggyback off that and say the Discord link is in my forum signature under this message if anyone is interested. We do chat quite a bit more on there than we do on here. Join the fun!

Also GG's to FDay! Close one up until the last quarter. When I saw the misses I thought we were gonna roll away with it but thats not at all what happened, kudos to your guys for keeping it close and making it quite the game.

GG and congratulations to Apex on claiming yet another trophy.
I hope next time my team will try playing for the whole game and not just 36 minutes.

Ya, congratulations to Apex. I wish I could muster a little more enthusiasm, because you deserve it. You are among the best I've ever seen.

p.s. Hats off to Irvine for being pretty damned good too

Final Power Rankings:

1. Atelier (18-4) - Off(3), Def(1), Rating (395.98)
2. F.Day Internet Lovers Club (16-6) - Off(1), Def(2), Rating (372.47)
3. Irvine Anteaters (17-5) - Off(8), Def(7), Rating (337.28)
4. Delta 9 (15-7) - Off(2), Def(4), Rating (329.95)
5. Delaware 87ers (12-10) - Off(6), Def(9), Rating (308.38)
6. Telecasters (14-8) - Off(10), Def(10), Rating (304.64)
7. Wasted Potential (13-9) - Off(4), Def(6), Rating (304.37)
8. Triple-Double (15-7) - Off(5), Def(3), Rating (300.05)
9. Jim Almeidas Janitor Crew (11-11) - Off(13), Def(11), Rating (293.89)
10. 10inch Vertical (12-10) - Off(11), Def(5), Rating (287.06)
11. Arizona Cacti (7-15) - Off(7), Def(8), Rating (270.71)
12. BallHoggersFTW (9-13) - Off(12), Def(12), Rating (240.2)
13. Work in Progress (8-14) - Off(8), Def(13), Rating (231.15)
14. U.K Nuggets (5-17) - Off(14), Def(14), Rating (191.32)
15. Flash Mashers (3-19) - Off(15), Def(15), Rating (131.38)
16. Ice Man (1-21) - Off(16), Def(16), Rating (21.11)

A few notes:
- 10inch Vertical finished just 1 PD back of Delaware for the 5th spot and easier relegation series.
- Atelier no longer owns the perfect 400 point rating after F.Day Internet Lovers Club took the lead in PD
- Playoff time!

Updated MVP race with projected points from voting:
1. Calvin Webb (Wasted Potential) – 66.8
2. Christopher Stepp (Atelier) – 37.7
3. Ty Maxwell (Telecasters) – 33.2
4. Denis Borisenko (10inch Vertical) – 22.7
5. Artaxerxis Tzougkarakis (Delta 9) – 22.3

The Next 5: Li Hoi Chi (F.Day Internet Lovers Club), Philipp Krotzer (F.Day Internet Lovers Club), Greg Lackey (Atelier), John Timmons (Atelier), Greg Maynard (Atelier)

We’ll see how the MVP voting turns out! Really the top 3 are the only ones separated from the rest of the pack at all, so if those 3 finish higher then I will say it has been a successful model. I would expect the actual points from voting to be quite off though.

Reminder that you can raise prices a little for your home playoff games. I say this for selfish reasons.

I thought I would put together All-NBBA teams and awards. I used the MVP model to pick the all-NBBA teams and the rest are subjective.

First Team
G Calvin Webb (Wasted Potential)
G Ty Maxwell (Telecasters)
F Artaxerxis Tzougkarakis (Delta 9)
F Denis Borisenko (10inch Vertical)
C Christopher Stepp (Atelier)

Second Team
G Slavko Medun (Irvine Anteaters)
G Greg Maynard (Atelier)
F Greg Lackey (Atelier)
F Li Hoi Chi (F.Day Internet Lovers Club)
C Philipp Krotzer (F.Day Internet Lovers Club)

Third Team
G Batachikhan Qorin (10inch Vertical)
G Nikola Petrović (Delta 9)
F Hermenexildo Ai (Jim Almeidas Janitor Crew)
F John Timmons (Atelier)
C Martin Penkov (Delaware 87ers)

Just missed the cut
Hugh Worthington (Arizona Cacti) F
Tanner Knott (Triple Double) F
Nick Rasmussen (Atelier) F

*Requirement of 15 games played to qualify

Defensive Player of the Year
Rusty Skaggs (Irvine Anteaters) 2.7 bpg, 1.1 spg, 13.5 rpg, 16.2 rating

Runner ups
Tanner Knott (Triple Double) 1.7 spg, 0.9 bpg, 15.7 rating
Gerald Menard (Delta 9) 2.5 bpg, 0.4 spg, 9.7 rpg, 20.0 rating
Salar Dabir (F.Day Internet Lovers Club) 1.2 spg, 17.7 rating
Jim Rivers (Atelier) 1.1 spg, 16.3 rating

Rookie of the Year
Jack Mueller (Delaware 87ers) – Played one game and in it set the NBBA record for blocks and achieved a triple double.

Manager of the Year
Mc Kr (F.Day Internet Lovers Club) – I’m equivalating this to coach of the year in the NBA which typically goes to the team that plays the best compared to preseason expectations. Great regular season and cup for Mc Kr!

Most improved player is too hard to figure out. Nominate your guy if you have one that improved a lot!
