What advantages does tanking give you then? It makes it easier to train because you don't need to worry about competing, but besides that and a top draft pick I don't see anything that makes tanking attractive.

What advantage? Draft picks IMO are the last thing that lead you to tank, as investment in draft points usually doesn't pay off, and due to nature of draft (with max scouting spendings, you need 2 and 1/2 season to be able to check potential of all the prospects) 1st pick doesn't give you a big advantage.

(not to you personal, but a general statement)

If you (the royal you, meaning everyone), if you need 2.5 seasons worth of draft points to get a good draftee. Then you are not using your draft points well, and don't know what you're doing in the draft. I've never had issues securing good players, using the generic 10k a week for 2 points a week, and using just that allotment each draft.
That dates back for S4-9, and from 18-present, with 3 missed seasons between 18-present.

It was just an example to show, how little can you do during the draft with possibilities that game gives you. If I were to scout, I would also choose 10k per week. However, I still think that there's a bigger chance of getting good prospect (for example, 18 yo with SS10>50) by spending 250k on TL rather than buying 50 draft points. But I may understand that there's also a homegrown factor - due to it many managers may consider draft actually worthwhile.

@Underwood - tanking mostly lets to recover after excessive runs. Lesser costs of maintaining the team and training prospects leads to profit. To be honest, it was such a big factor in past, that BB decided to discourage it as strongly, as it possible, so now you're right - there's no advantage in tanking nowadays... and I kinda believe that was a BBs goal.

Moving the line that shows when a team has last been online from the conference overview to the actual team page itself. I know suggestions don't usually happen in this game, but this one is something that seems pretty basic. I don't see how when a team was last online has anything to do with a conference interview. Moving it to the team page itself makes more sense to me.

This was probably brought up already but the skill ball system in the draft and scouting screen needs a fix as it has no meaning anymore. Of my 18 group demonstration players, who are supposed to have one or two balls assigned by the scouts, 14 have 5 skill balls.

Please fix. 5 skill balls should be >4000 salary or maybe >60 TSP

I think that user didn't want to point out rough estimation of draft, but rather the fact that after 2 big upgrades of draft quality 80% players have 5-ball skills, when it used to be 15-20%. In this situation, it would be actually a very good suggestion to revamp quality ranges in draft preview.
