Ill PM it to you and u can post it lol i dont know how to word it for the forums

I am still really curious about this. Even with the pending suspicion about your history, I think the community deserves an answer. The moderators on the off-site forum would not ban someone for no reason, so an explanation is required.

For the record I have not recieved a PM with an answer...

I am sure you already know but posting PM's in the forums is sometimes questionable. But in this case it may be protecting the Canadian community so it should remain open.

Again thanks for taking the time to sniff out the 'wet dog'.

Cheers

Looks like it is just you and I now Griffin... Oh and that other guy 'Future NBA Hall of famer'.

I have a question to ask the both of you. What is the ideal build of a 'realistic' NT power forward? Also what skills do you consider to be over rated and under rated?

Cheers

ugh... I am not sure if I should do this but I've suspected this since you first started posting on the public forums and I think I have enough circumstantial evidence to just come out and ask it:
Did you previously post under the name "shootingguardmagic?"

I also had the same thoughts when he started posting...

realistic power forward?
In numbers:

JS 13 Jr 6
OD 7 HN 7
DR 9 PA 10
IS 15 ID 17
RB 15

of course you can have more skills, but ratio would be like that. I really like balanced players, almost an SF

I'd say a NT Power Forward should need at least strong in all outside skills. To me, I think JS, OD, and Passing are all pretty important, and should be a couple levels higher than that. In general, strong is too low for many skills, but that would be a minimum of what they should have. That is for the future of the NT, not the present, because I don't think there are enough options currently in Canada that have those skills and high enough inside skills to be effective at the NT level. TSA is a good guide of what to make a PF, but in the future, to keep salaries down and be a big time NT PF, I think even higher outside skills than TSA are needed. To be a top tier NT, we have to find advantages and having extremely well rounded PFs is a good way to do that, because we don't have any teams in Canada that are able and willing to have a monster salary player on their team, so we need our player to be very well rounded, as well as have great inside skills. That is what the top managers in the game are looking for, and you really want your top NT players to be on an experienced manager's team, so that they stay in good game shape. Our user base isn't as large as many other countries, so we can't just waste our good bigs by making them monster salary guys that fade once they are transferred because they find themselves on a team with a bad manager.

that was supposed to be a realistic goal. Of course everyone would love more skills than that. i think the better question would be how perfect PF would look having x number of skills. this way you could find out how manager prioritizes skills.

Would you consider TSA a salary monster? He is obviously very well paid but rightfully so in my opinion.

I do agree that a solid PF should have decent outside skills. I would like to see them more along these lines:

JS- Prolific or better JR- respectable or strong will do
OD- Proficient or better Handling- strong or better
Driving- Strong is fine Passing- Strong or better

The big difference is a PF who can shoot the thee ball and defend on the outside. These multi skilled players are unique and are what will make our NT continue to improve.

You can have more skills than that? I have been looking for such a player on the transfer market and I can tell you they are quite rare. Actually, I do not even want that good, the salary would be too much for me to bear.

look at Glenn Richars. in 4 seasons of training he can have a bit more than that, and imagine if someone would start with better JS than him

Training a player to look anything close to that is very tough. Can it happen? Yes, but it is a lot of work and effort. Trust me I am getting close to completion on a PF that is very unique. Momar Maja will be a dominating force in time, but it has been 5 seasons of dedicated training. Training of that nature is tough as it makes the rest of the team suffer with alot of out of position training.
