Did you see who I was playing? Against 95% of the teams in Nippon I would have had a chance but Kitakyushu is the #3 team in the entire nation, it was at their arena, they were willing to normal us and use their stars like this:

That would be fantastic, the problem would be that it is unlikely to be someone from the Great 8.

:) Malice you are correct and that is a much better one! All even now.

I guess I was wrong about the match, but if you are going to be wrong that is the best way to be!

Yellow Cake I hope so but there are four very strong teams in the Great 8 this season and any one of us could win with the Fighters and NKRKs being equal favourites.

If there was a bot promotion today it would go to the best record of those that didn't win the championship out of...

2/3 Umi says 16/0
2/4 Albanian Mafia 16/0
2/1 Sapporo Fighters 15/1
2/2 Elandstraat 263 14/2
2/2 Miyazaki Freeters 14/2
2/3 Golden Warriors 12/4
2/1 KFC 12/4
2/4 Naegi Rich men 11/5

You would expect Albanian Mafia to win as they are the only non-bot in their league but they haven't logged since the 28/8 so may go bot themselves which I think could create another bot promotion.

There are only 2 non-bots in 2/3 and the other one last logged on 17/8 so Umi says should win 2/3 easily.

2/2 has 8 active teams and could easily have the 2 promotions, but if there are three then one will flow to 2/1.

2/1 if there is a bot promotion going then whoever wins the Great 8 should promote if they win the championship or not. If they don't win then there is a chance for two of us to go up. Otherwise KFC may be heading to the JBBL after getting flogged by 100 in the finals series.

Are you sure? "equal fovorites"? Yes, I paid more salaries and all of you want, but i think i am really now in a 70% of chances to promotion to JBBL. The principal reason, i will play all my matches of playoffs in my field.

I'd rank Sapporo way ahead of the field now. He and I played the same level in his house, and he beat me soundly.

I agree you are probably the favourite but I still suspect NKRK have a few tricks up their sleeve. Looking at what just happened in the Big 8 it seems like still anything can happen.

I think that in this moment we have more than 1.5 million $ saved. I have a little advantage in this moment, but if I see that some dangerous team to me (NKS, Kyoto, Shikoku) spend money before playoffs, I will spend some of my 2M$ also to save this advantage with other teams. I think that aisteru have bought a stratoferic player for our league, but you need to have a 5 excellent players, not only 1 Superstar. He is not a problem for any of us (the top4 team in the Great 8)

$1.5 million is impressive. I wonder if there will be some arms race before the end. It is always a hard choice to spend your money or keep it. No doubt everyone in this league is very wealthy so who will think they have enough of a chance to make it worth spending their savings? I don't think we have seen the last big purchase for this season.
