1) I play inside, he plays outside - but the difference between his outside offense and my outside defense (5+ vs. 3) is smaller than my inside offense vs. his inside defense (5+ vs 3-). We both shot about 45% -- but obviously he shot (and made) a lot more 3 pointers. Still, doesn't seem right that I would shoot the same as an outside player (vs. my inside play) with those differentials.
maybe his starters has high levels defense and subs almost don`t have any level, so his overall drops, but still most of the game time you play against high level defender.
How in the world did he out-rebound me 52 to 42?!? I have rebounding of 6+ and he is 3- . . . and I get outrebounded at home by 10?
seems he uses new defense tactics pretty much well as I see his best rebounder is SG, so guess he make him defend against your center or PF, maybe his rebounding skill is better then yours.
In conclusion: there are players vs players playing, so in one position play 2 or 3 players, that means you see the overall/average (do not know how exactly they count it) comparing his 2-3 players and yours 2-3 players in that position there you are stronger as a group and he is stronger vs any of your players individually if his main player is on the court.
this is just my opinion and what I think about BB after all those seasons past.
