From the "Season 10 Changes"News post"

As announced previously, teams with great players will sell more merchandise. More fans want to wear the jerseys of players who are amongst their league, division, country, or even world leaders. Further, fans prefer wearing the jerseys of players who grew up close to home; domestic players sell more merchandise than foreign players, and fans get particularly excited if they can watch one of your own draft picks lead your team to prominence. On the other hand, fans have seen too many high-priced players who can't deliver when it matters. It's performance that matters, not salary.

Most of you posting have only one or two American players, Manhattan has something like 4 but I bet only one of them is in the starting line-up.

And after reading these I have to ask, who's above the league average? Is league average in reference to all of the D.II teams, or just those in D.II.3?

Using the above rationale, I'd assume Lucas Losers, EDH, Apollos, WTTD, Farfrompukin and Knuckleheads may have some pretty decent merch income. (I would also assume that BCLA is doing its part to pull down the league average, though.)

I'm pretty sure that figure is specific to II.3. By comparison, the average in II.4 is currently $ 54 108.

Second Team:
EDH Wolves II
My merchandising revenue is $ 53 117

My Net income is $ 72 494 (and that is with 40K in scouting)

BTW, I have no NT players, two of my 3 stars are not from the US but my starting PF (Astudillo) is an original player from the team I inherited (honest) and LoBianco is almost NT material and I got him in my first draft, season 3, so I have had two US starters for a very long time.....

Yep, mine is above average - $94 984

3 of my starters and 3 key backups were my draft picks, and a 4th starter is from USA.

Now you're talking about merch and not TV Rev right? Sorry but this is still twisting my mind. Way to blow the curve overachiever!

I've only got two americans that play on my team, both are back ups. One was drafted (Wes Collazo). If I'd get better draftee's that could change a whole lot..

A-freaking-men. I got a decent (not great) draftee this year, but he's 6'7" and I just switched to guard training... not to mention his potential was "role player". No idea how he sold for a quarter mil.

I overpaid for my new PG just because he's from the US, but apparently my fans aren't impressed. We'll see if that changes after a year of training.

Yep, merch. I may be overachieving there, but I'm far worse than average in every other expense/revenue category, which puts me at roughly 1/2 the league average in typical weekly net income.

I'm also an underachiever in the standings every season.
