why not? what bad in this idea?

The game engine, training setup, economy, and pretty much everything to do with the game is based on one training per week.

Change that to two for no compelling reason and you then have to alter everything else.

So no, this will not happen.

some things are basing on one train, for example the GS ... If we now have too trains in a week, we have one training period with one game and one with 2 games which makes gs harder to predict because we need different formulas also it doesn't allow backups on training position for the one game training.

Another thing is the training speed, if you train player X two times a week the player improvement is a lto faster then before, which isn't good.

So if you like to train bot defences you maybe do it, in two weeks ;)

2 trainingupdates wouldn't have sense. The game is about managing. Its your job as the team manager to improve the skills of the player in a long run. You can train at least 3 players every week. For unusual skill, you have to let play the player in the friendly. If you are in the cup, you get extra money instead of train a C in outside skills(for example) or you have to risk losing.
The economy in BB very good with this system: You train inside player..sell 1 or 2 and buy good (old) outside players...

It's normal that it takes some seasons before you become really strong. It would be senseless if you could reach the top of the first league after 3 or 4 seasons. Its a long-term game and thats nice. You can leave your team alone for 4 weeks if you have lots of work in the real life (nearly) without consequences.

I think in some seasons we will have really big problems with too many good players with high wages. It wouldn't be sensefull to speed that up.

edit: the only thing I could imagine would be personal training: when for example 2 player have 40 and 56 minutes afer 2 games, you can choose the 40min-man for personal training to get random extra 1-5 minutes.
possible conditions: he will be trained by another player of the team (extra hour in the evening(?).
you must have an older one, someone with higher experience or/and someone with the same basic position (maybe C/PF can train a C or PF, SG/PG train a SG or PG, SF can train everybody).
just a suggestion... maybe the "player-trainer" get 10minutes extra for this, so its sometimes a disadvantage for the gameshape.
But it would be a way to correct very different minutes for a training position.

You are either suggesting that A/ teams get a choice of free game shape, stamina, or free throw training every week in addition to normal minute-based training, or B/ a complete overhaul of the training system, which is currently based on accumulating training minutes in the weekly matches. Option A seems pointless and would only guarantee perfect FT skills and high game shapes in the long run for all teams. Option B is simply very unlikely to happen.
