I think handling is an important component to it as well as the driving that is why the skills are linked so closely, Handling helps your player deal with a tough defense and get better opportunities to shoot

You're right. But for a SG I would rate driving slightly higher, because he doesn't have the ball in his hands for much time. I don't know exactly how the game engine works, but I imagine a SG also has a lot of catch-and-shoot's, our situations where he just adjusts a little bit before firing. But I agree with you, my SG has mediocre handling and turns the ball over a lot :P

i expect he get some training, and with the skills he learned the system thinks he is a good PF. What did you train this week, and which position he was listed before?

PS: The recommend position have no effect on the game, like the size who aonly affect training.

really a bit weird, normally you got with that the switch to an SF or SG, especially with range training who trained no insideskills.

But to be honest, in your case i would look to get a new trainee for hm because the training program is the most important thing at the beginning of the game. Maybe you get three young guys, and make singleposition training till the next draft.

In BB you need normally 2-3 trainings to get a pop in the main Skill you are training, and also train some skill secondary with a slower speed.

I just see you already bought some young player, and the linked guy is one of your older player with a low salary for ya team. But on none training position you don't need that young player, and i would concentrate on training guards or centers.

And I wont get good players at the draft.

don't give up the draft to early, i normally get one usefull player out of it ;)

but he never got 48 minutes a week, if you miss 5 minutes of training the loose in training is much higher then 5/48 so this is pretty normal that he didn't pop and with his salary and age i don't think that he is worth the training.

PS: if you lineup a player as starter - backup and reserve and just put starters and backups in your rooster your player normally plays 48 minutes, this is a easy way to reach the 48 min which are optimal for training with the risk that foul trouble or injury could mess up your minutes.
