Well we dont know his height and level of OD skill compared to the other but i'd expect jump anyway.. And i dont agree 39'=50% training at all. I have trained 6weeks passing (5times pg only) having 5 skillups in PA (1st,2nd,4th,5th,6th week) with 40' at the 6th week.. Maybe the guy is tall and his OD is highest skill..atm he is maybe at very high sublevel and could jump twice in 3 weeks of full training

it took 4 weeks, 1 position training, with 48+ minutes per week to get an OD pop on one of my players.

Of course, he is also 6 foot 10 and was 23 yrs old at the time
I have a 6'11" 23 y.o.(soon 24) that has to get 4-5 levels of OD to be finished. Guess he will be turning 26 before I can conclude his training. Starting to show some good results though so I guess I can live with it

Motto you could take a look at my player Algirdas Ulba and as you could see he has best height possible for training as PG and still pressure takes 5 weeks to pop-up, sometimes 4 week, but rare to happen.

Actually, I was trying to point to the fact that many things affect training. I was actually wondering if his trainee is getting close to his skill cap. He may not be completely capped, but I think there is some evidence that as you approach the cap, training starts to slow down a bit.

Or as the Z said, it could just be his age.

And i dont agree 39'=50% training at all.

Well, on this one I do not know the answer 100%, but I know for sure it is not linear. So the penalty for 39 minutes is not negligible.

]The drop-off is not linear, so 39 minutes is probably something like only half a week of training]

really?

Well, as I said in another post, I do not have the exact forumla but 39 minutes is certainly less than 81% of the training.

Can anyone link to the thread where it shows how the training takes effect and what skill it trains. I remember reading such a thread the last week, but now I can't find it. Anyone who knows what I'm talking about? :)

I believe this is what you are looking for: (78242.1).

Just remember that the estimates given there are generally for the ideal situation, so you can expect longer training times for older players, bad trainers, etc.
