A good, comfortable start, elboss, against the Irish. Good luck for the rest of the tournament. Wish my guys were anywhere near good enough for you...

Thanks! If you train Jody properly he might be good enough pretty soon :)

Ha! I've now got two forwards who need serious traiing, and it's starting to interfere with my other plans. Oh well, it'll be worth it to see one of my players make the NT. Cheers.

On Monday we face Shqipëria, on paper not the most fearful opponent, but after the "shocking" result of Cyprus-Belgium we all know not to take any match for granted!

They lost their opening match against DK (8666) but posted a "Proficient" inside attack. And overall, their stats are not nearly as bad as you'd think.

In fact they seem better than other teams in the group... This week their GS is messed up, which should help us to no end.

Thanks to all teams with english NT players, the GS this week is a lot better!

We have the stats of 3 out of 14 of their players (see above post). As usual we'll our best! Wish the team well!!

We'll be looking at the performance of Cyprus (against DK) as well, since they will be our next opponent.

This is our match again Shqipëria (8669)

We won 97-60, which is not bad. We also posted pretty decent ratings.

No real surprises in the group, Belgium won against Sakartvelo (8671), recovering from last week mishap...

We should be 1st in the group followed by Germany and Denmark!

Congratulations for the win. These ratings are very good. Maybe we can even go to the 2nd round

Nice job. Happy to see them spending some enthusiasm, too. :)

good win mate

it shows a good draw is half the job done.

Despite to what other people are thinking, it will be a very hard feat to qualify for the next round. It is funny to see what 2 wins against minnows can do. Looking at the ratings for Belgium, Germany and Sakartvelo, which are very similar to ours, it will all come down to managing enthusiasm and perhaps even baskets for and against.

The fact we were able to Tie twice already will be a massive help...

Keep up the good job and lets hope the coaches that have players in the NT will manage their gameshape better.

You are right, of course, but so far things are going well. We didn't have any "accidents". It's good to be positive as long as you can :)

Obviously to get through we need, at the very least to win 3 more games, 4 to be sure... Starting with Cyprus, our next opponent. They gave away the match against DK and they *really* need to win against us. They won against Belgium, so they can pull it off as well...

Let's see how that goes!

It's interesting to see that despite the last two wins we dropped to the 41th team in the rankings. Givent he algorithm they use, it looks like they "expected" us to win those matches...

We lost. Quite upset about it, but not much to do now. 2nd time that Cyprus shocks us in 2 matches. It was a CT vs Normal, but still... They had a bit of luck and took the prize.

Hopefully this is just a bump on the road... Well done to Cryprus.
